December 2016: Service Director Mike Fitzpatrick is proud to reintroduce their Diesel technician. Lloyd Hensley has returned to the service team of Classic Chevrolet as their Diesel Technician after a brief period of time away.

“We’re very excited to welcome Lloyd back to the Classic Chevrolet family,” said Mike Fitzpatrick. “He’s one of the best diesel technicians we’ve seen and having him back on our team only adds to our standard of excellence.”

Lloyd started working as a mechanic at age 15 and has been working in General Motors dealerships since age 19. He is a certified Duramax Diesel Expert, having worked on the Duramax diesel engine since its inception in 2000. Lloyd is also an ASE Master Certified Technician.

“I aim to stay 100% trained in all General Motors training standards for Classic Chevrolet,” said Lloyd. “If I’m not doing my part, than that doesn’t project the right idea to the rest of the team.”

Classic Chevrolet takes their training seriously. The company constantly strives to have all the recommended diagnostic equipment and repair tools for the Duramax Diesel so you can rest assured your diesel gets fixed right the first time.

“Our staff is always way over GM training standards,” adds Mike. “We’re usually over 300% trained, which means Classic Chevrolet provides training opportunities to our personnel well over required or expected levels. Not only do we have the latest and greatest state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, but our technicians are highly skilled at using it.”

Service Director Mike Fitzpatrick celebrates his 26th year with Classic Chevrolet in Owasso this year.

“I still enjoy coming to work each day because of all the great employees in the Classic organization, especially those I work directly with in our service department.”

In addition to the routine services provided by an automotive service department, Classic also provides products and services including tires, oil changes, trim, electrical, AC and heating system, engine repair and replacement, brake service, heavy line engine and diesel repair on GM products. The Duramax was a vast improvement over GM’s previous indirect-injection diesel, and Chevy beat two major competitors to the punch with its 2001 model year introduction. Mike says his team is part of a nationwide network of diesel technicians who report new repair problems whenever they are encountered. Anyone in the network experiencing a diesel repair issue finds reassurance knowing that other diesel experts have probably encountered and reported the same problem, plus their recommendations on making the repair.

The service team at Classic Chevrolet in Owasso wishes you and yours a happy and safe holiday. When your car, truck or diesel needs repair or service, be sure to see Mike and his staff of qualified advisors and technicians. They are willing and able to quickly get you back on the road.
