By, Macy Goodnight; We the people have the freedom to make many choices, and American Heritage Bank is thankful for the customers who have chosen them! AHB welcomes you to celebrate America as they host their 23rd annual fireworks extravaganza to show their thanks!
The grand annual fireworks show in Sapulpa will take place on the fourth of July, with festivities beginning at 5 p.m., show at 9:45 p.m. The event is open to the public and will be held in and around the Walmart Supercenter parking lot at 1002 West Taft Avenue. American Heritage will host a small festival in the connecting field, with inflatables, face painting, vendors, a DJ, many family activities and much more! The fireworks show will be choreographed to music, and for those who choose to view the fireworks show from a location outside of the festival area, the music can be heard by tuning in to radio 89.5FM. The 20-minute fireworks show is launched from the adjacent Sapulpa City Golf Course, so viewing anywhere in the area should be optimal. This family event promises to be a spectacular celebration of America as a special thank you from American!
Lots of fun things to do while waiting for the fireworks to start.
AHB Marketing Director, Jennifer Dilley, has been the event coordinator on behalf of the bank since its conception in 1997. “We just wanted an event to say thank you to our customers and patrons,” she said. “It’s a big family event, and we invite everyone out; it’s for the whole community.” Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets, or even a picnic. “Lots of people bring frisbees to play within the field,” said Jennifer, “it’s just a great opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends.”
AHB has always maintained a tradition of civic involvement and support. Founded in 1905, the family-owned bank prides themselves on their history and their firm belief in investing in the communities where they live and do business. “It’s always been our mission to be involved in our communities, but it’s a genuine involvement,” Jennifer said. “We aren’t doing it to be self-serving. Our people have kids that go to the schools or participate in the sports we support. It makes our people proud to see our name as sponsors of community events.”
Lots of fun for the whole family with AHB’s July 4 celebration!
The eighth largest bank in the state, American Heritage Bank currently has 25 facilities and serves 15 different municipalities. One of the oldest banks in Oklahoma, its lineage can be linked to the discovery of the world’s largest oil field in Glenpool, OK in the early 1900s. The bank was purchased by the Berry Family in the 1930s, and is currently still family owned and operated by them. The foundation of AHB today is built on trust, stability and longevity, in addition to the support they provide the communities they serve. “Our philosophy is all about being involved,” said Jennifer, “and this fireworks celebration is a part of that.”
