The most exclusive event of the year is the Chamber’s Main Street Burn, presented by AVB Bank. The event happens in the fall and sells out every year, and this year was no exception. The event is held outside at the Rose District Plaza and includes a steak dinner, a full bar, a raffle, a live and silent auction, and of course, cigars. The cigars from the event are all provided by BA Tobacco Outlet located here in Broken Arrow. This posh evening is filled with networking amongst business and community leaders and continues to be one of our most successful events.

Going into our fourth year with this event, we really listened to our committee this year to enhance the experience of the evening. We sold out at 37 tables this year, with a total of 300 people in attendance. From enriching our premium experience tables to bringing in some exclusive auction items, this year was one for the books. A big thank you to the owner of CJ Moloney’s and Potbelly’s, Ben Buie, who cooked all of the food for the evening.

“This was my first year to experience this event, and I was impressed by the attendance and participation by our members, sponsors and community,” stated Jennifer Conway, President and CEO of the Broken Arrow Chamber and EDC. “This has easily become one of my favorite events that I have seen since being here, and I am excited to grow it and continue the success in years to come.”

Some of the items that were featured in the live auction this year was a Simulator Experience donated by FightSafety, a Fire Truck Ride to School and a Flashover Experience donated by the Broken Arrow Fire Department, a rifle of the Broken Arrow Special Ops Team that was donated by Rise Armament, the opportunity to drive a tank, VIP tickets to thousands of events nationwide and some amazing trips to places like Mexico and Havana.

“The Main Street Burn has truly grown and evolved since the 2016 inception, becoming a premier networking event. Now, four years later, The Main Street Burn is successful on multiple levels: bringing business and community leaders together for networking and synergy, serving as a record-year funding mechanism for the Broken Arrow Chamber…as we collectively support the investment in and economic development of our City and furthering the promotion of the Rose District revitalization. AVB Bank is proud to be an active partner with a dynamic Chamber. And, without exception, we are proud to, once again, have served as the presenting sponsor for The Main Street Burn,” stated Ted Cundiff, President and CEO of AVB Bank.

We couldn’t do what we do without our sponsors, so thank you to the following for your support of the Chamber. Presenting sponsor AVB Bank, our event sponsor Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa, our gold sponsors Floral Haven, Magnum Construction, Oneta Power, Phoenix Restoration, River Spirit Casino Resort, Shelter Insurance – Joe Howard, cigar sponsor BA Tobacco Outlet, beer pour sponsor Broken Arrow Brewing Company and the after-party sponsor Stogies Cigar House and Cocktails.
