Lemon-Aid Celebration

Jana Jae Fiddle Camp & Music Festival

Attend the Jana Jae Fiddle Camp and Music Festival and witness fiddlers of all levels and ages come together in a learning experience with master instructors and performers. Classes include demonstrations and instruction, as well as learning to play with groups and before an audience. All acoustic musicians are welcome. Rocklahoma

Labor Day Celebration

The Henryetta Labor Day Celebration is one of the largest Labor Day events in Oklahoma. Make your way to the town of Henryetta for a parade, games for all ages, concerts, a carnival, rodeo and an impressive fireworks display at dusk. Visitors to this Labor Day Celebration will also enjoy a car, bike and tractor show. The highlight of this festival is the parade, featuring a wide variety of floats, marching bands, horses, Shriners and more. First Friday Art Crawl

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As an added bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Boats, Beats & BBQ
September 1, 2023 - September 3, 2023

Come to Grand Lake and experience the most unique music festival in the country. Boats, Beats & BBQ offers three days of powerboat races, incredible music and mouthwatering barbecue. Held over Labor Day weekend, this fun event is accessible via boat or land at Wolf Creek Park in Grove on Grand Lake. Kick things off on Friday with a food truck festival downtown, as well as a Formula 1 Powerboat lineup and meet and greet. The poker run also begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. On both Saturday and Sunday, there will be boat races, a Kansas City BBQ Society official tasting competition and live music on the water. The stage is visible from the lake shore, but visitors are welcome to bring a raft and jump in for the full water festival experience.

Tulsa Reining Classic
September 1-3, 2023

The Tulsa Reining Classic is an action-packed display of equestrian skills at Tulsa Expo Square. Cherokee National Holiday
September 1 - September 3, 2023

The Cherokee National Holiday in Tahlequah celebrates the signing of the Cherokee Nation Constitution in 1839. This annual event is a celebration of Cherokee heritage and cultural awareness. The Cherokee National Holiday attracts visitors from across the United States as well as from around the world. The three-day holiday is full of activities for all ages, from traditional Native American games like cornstalk and blowgun shooting, marbles and stickball to tournaments in sports like basketball and softball. Many other events will take place during the Cherokee National Holiday, including a parade, children's events, a quilt show and a car show. Vendors will be on hand offering authentic Native American products such as food, artwork, pottery, blankets and other unique items. The highlights of the celebration will be the inter-tribal powwows, held on both Friday night and Saturday night.

Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival

The Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival will feature traditional arts and crafts, handmade American Indian items on display and sporting tournaments. Visitors will also enjoy a 5K run and walk, as well as softball, basketball, cornhole and volleyball tournaments. The Choctaw Nation Labor Day Festival is the place to be this Labor Day weekend. A great way to begin any day of the festival is by visiting the Choctaw Nation Museum. The museum holds many historical artifacts and information about the Choctaw culture and past, including actual objects that were carried across the Trail of Tears and interactive exhibits.

Conquer the Gauntlet Obstacle Race

Conquer the Gauntlet is a challenging four-mile obstacle course and adventure race that features over 30 obstacles. Mayes County Fair

Since its establishment in 1916, the Mayes County Fair in Pryor has promoted Oklahoma agriculture, education and community involvement through quality entertainment in a family-friendly environment. Vendors with farm and agriculture-related items, clothing and food will be set up at fair. There will be a livestock show complete with swine, cattle, lambs, goats, equine show and timed events, broiler and poultry. Other attractions at the fair are the pedal pull on Sunday for the young kids, tractor driving contest, pet show and indoor exhibits. Diamond Stone Music Festival

Bluegrass & Chili Festival

Woolaroc Fall Trail Ride

Watch for buffalo, elk, deer or longhorn cattle on this trail ride that covers approximately 15 miles of scenic terrain on the famous Woolaroc Ranch. Bring your own horse and join the group for a day-long ride over 3,700 acres of ranch land. Hidden away amongst the beauty of the rolling Osage Hills, the country retreat of oilman Frank Phillips will open its gates to riders looking to explore native terrain that is rarely seen by the general public.The Woolaroc Fall Trail Ride includes overnight primitive camping on Friday prior to the ride, a morning and afternoon guided trail ride and admission to Woolaroc. The trail ride fee also includes lunch and dinner on Saturday. Riders must provide their own horses and gear. While not on the trail, participants can enjoy all that Woolaroc has to offer, including the on-site lodge and museum featuring a premier Western art collection, one of the world's finest collections of Colt firearms and an extensive collection of Navajo blankets. Registration for the Woolaroc Fall Trail Ride will begin on Friday, with current Coggins papers required upon arrival. Arrival and check-in time on Saturday is scheduled between 7am and 9am, while the trail ride will begin promptly at 9:30am. Total time in the saddle will be approximately five hours. All participants are encouraged to bring a camera, weather-appropriate clothing, a water canteen, rain poncho, sunscreen and insect repellent. Lunch will typically consist of a barbecue buffalo sandwich, a bag of chips and a cookie. Dinner typically consists of smoked meats, potato salad, baked beans and dessert. Lunches for non-riders are available by reservation only. Camping will be available Saturday night with additional charge. Pre-registration for the Woolaroc Fall Trail Ride is requested.

Osage County Free Fair

The Osage County Free Fair celebrates the agricultural abundance of Pawhuska and the surrounding area with livestock shows, a horse show, ranch rodeo and plenty of 4-H exhibits set up for visitors. Born & Raised Music Festival

The Born & Raised Music Festival is a multi-day music extravaganza that features some of the top artists in Red Dirt, Outlaw, Southern rock and country music. Headliners for the 2023 festival include the Turnpike Troubadours, Whiskey Myers, Ryan Bingham, the Randy Rogers Band, Lukas Nelson, Gary Allan and Randy Houser.There will also be performances by Mike and the Moonpies, 49 Winchester, Flatland Cavalry, Them Dirty Roses, the Red Clay Strays, Katilin Butts, Kat Hasty, Holly Beth and Jamie Lin Wilson. Rogers County Free Fair

Fallfest
September 14, 2023

Head to Collinsville on the second Thursday of every month (April through August) for Summerfest. Located just a short drive north of Tulsa on US-169, Collinsville is a friendly small town where you can visit with old friends and make new ones. This close-knit community comes together to offer a vendor fair and food trucks in the downtown area, with a free movie night to follow. ScotFest is Oklahoma's flagship celebration of Celtic history and heritage.
