From the moment you step foot into a Jersey Mike’s Sub shop, you know you’re in for a great sandwich. The heavenly aroma of fresh bread and meats, some recent baking, and maybe a hint of bacon lingers in the air, and your mouth begins to water. It’s really hard to choose from their delectable menu when everything looks SO good, but alas, you must decide on one (or two!), with the knowledge that there is always tomorrow.

May is National Osteoporosis Month: Dr. James R. Webb Offers Free Bone Density Scans

Osteoporosis can be as deadly as heart disease.  In the 1980s, the disease was naturally considered a normal process of aging.  As medicine evolved, it became evident that Osteoporosis was connected to fractures. Today, medicine shows that not everyone with Osteoporosis has low bone density and people can have ‘fragility fractures’ as a result of the disease’s progression.

New Mayor, Vice Mayor Elected in Broken Arrow

Following the swearing-in ceremony for incumbent City Councilor Debra Wimpee (Ward 1) and newly elected City Councilor Lisa Ford (Ward 2), the Broken Arrow City Council voted to elect Debra Wimpee as Mayor and Christi Gillespie as Vice Mayor at their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 20. Wimpee and Gillespie will each serve a two-year term in those roles.
