Service Manager David Thompson graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1980 and has 34 years in the automotive business. “When I was a kid,” says David, “my dad and I had a common interest – we both loved to spend time in the garage messing with cars.” When David was just 15, he was working part-time for a local Broken Arrow mechanic shop. Since the age of 18, he has worked with several area Chevrolet dealers, beginning as a porter and quickly graduating to detailer, technician, technician, service advisor, and then service manager. “I’ve had really great mentors over the years and worked with a lot of nice people,” he added.  
“Jim Glover Chevrolet is growing by leaps and bounds,” says David. “We have many seasoned technicians in our service department and will be looking for additional experienced individuals as we continue our growth. I’m really glad to be the service manager at Jim Glover Chevrolet, and I appreciate the fact that the organization places such a strong emphasis on integrity. The attitude permeating Jim Glover Chevrolet is to hire talented people and empower them to do their jobs. Technicians are ASE trained and David promotes cross-training with all his service employees, as annual training goals are set for each individual. “Each year GM introduces new training requirements, and we ensure that our technicians and service advisors receive all required and recommended training to keep them on top of their game.”
Jim Glover Chevrolet boasts the finest in state-of-the-art service equipment and currently has over 25 technicians to serve you. If you’re a customer, you’ll receive periodic service reminders for upcoming recommended maintenance. Jim Glover is also an Isuzu dealer and provides service on all makes and model of vehicles. “We accept competitors’ coupons for service,” says David, “plus we have 12 dedicated technicians who provide oil changes, tire rotations and other quick services.”

Jim Glover Chevrolet also has a complete parts department and a collision repair shop. “We offer service loaner cars when you’ve made an appointment for your vehicle to be serviced,” says David. “We have the talent, and our collective goal is to keep your vehicle running safely and efficiently and to keep you happy.”
