If you feed a man a fish, that man will eat for a day.  If you teach a man to fish, that man will eat for the rest of his life.  What if that philosophy could work with teaching wealth?

At Generation Income Strategies, that’s their mission.

Linda Rainwater, owner of Generation Income Strategies and financial advisor for Raymond James, believes in the basic principle that knowledge is power and better understanding of financial knowledge can lead anyone to making and reaching their financial goals.

“52 percent of people in the U.S. invest in the stock market,” said Rainwater.  “Very few have a real investment education or know what they own.  That’s where we come in.”

Rainwater says that patience is one of the main building blocks for understanding more about what you are investing.  “We teach investing at the speed of the individual client.  If it takes going over information three to four times, we don’t mind or get impatient.  After all, that’s what we are here to do: to teach you how to grow and manage your wealth.  You can’t do that in one meeting. It usually takes about six months to get really comfortable.  It shouldn’t be overwhelming.”

As a client with Generation Income Strategies, you will learn about investments through a series of tools like fun board games, seminars and one-on-one meetings with knowledgeable staff.

There are no dumb questions when it comes to building wealth. What’s in my 401K?  How does that work?  How do I need to choose stocks?  What is a derivative?  These are all great questions that Generation Income teaches in order to build greater wealth, not only for clients, but for generations down the line.

Rainwater and her staff take great pride in passing along financial knowledge to everyone in the family.

“We have classes ages ten and up,” said Rainwater.  “One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is to be financially successful.  If a family can communicate openly about investing, saving and building wealth, children have a much better advantage of being comfortable with money as adults.”

Comfort is the second basic building block applied by the Generation Income Strategy.  They offer a comfortable setting where all questions, ideas and life events are welcomed.

“My job isn’t to place orders in the stock market,” said Rainwater.  “My job is to get to know the needs of individuals and families.  I become a part of their families.  I go to weddings that I’ve helped plan for.  I go to funerals of clients that have become great friends.  I get calls when a major financial family decision is being made.  It is a privilege and much more than a job.”

Generation Income Strategies offers free consultations for all potential clients by calling the office and arranging an appointment.

They also offer free seminars for Social Security law changes and update Medicare laws. These free events fill up quickly.  Please refer to the calendar on  HYPERLINK "http://www.genincome.com" www.genincome.com.
