Wagoner’s Gold – Discover Legends of History and Music

Guests will also be amazed to find a mind-blowing music memorabilia collection in The Legends of Country Music exhibit.  It is the massive collection of Jim Halsey, a legend in the music business, as a talent agent who represented such names as Reba McEntire, Tammy Wynette, Merle Haggard, Clint Black, Roy Clark, The Oakridge Boys, and many more.   Some of the items in the collection that visitors can view include Gold Records, an authentic Grammy Award, signed guitars, and much more.

RSU Public Television - The Signal

In March when the Oklahoma State Board of Education suspended the remainder of the public-school year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, RSU Public TV came to the aid of public schools across Northeast Oklahoma by launching a new regional educational initiative called @HomeLearning. This effort addressed the growing educational need across our 24-counties in northeastern Oklahoma. For the first time ever, elementary and secondary students had ready access to over-the-air learning resources on RSU Public TV Channel 35.1 in order to complete the 2020 school year.

Broken Arrow Breaks Ground on Brown-Kimbrough Arts Center

Together with representatives from AVB Bank, ArtsOK, and the Brown-Kimbrough family, officials from the City of Broken Arrow broke ground Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 2:00 p.m. on the new Brown-Kimbrough Center for Arts, Innovation & Creativity. The two-story center will feature multiple classrooms, flex space, gallery space, and indoor/outdoor areas to host events. This innovative space will be a unique destination in the Rose District and will serve to the enjoyment and education of the citizens in the entire metro area.
