Spring brings gardening, cleanup and organizing. Do you have easy access to your gardening tools? Perhaps you vowed last year to finally get the garage organized, or you want to get relief from a cluttered home? Consider a portable building from the Armbristers in Claremore.
Since 2007, Lewis and Patricia Armbrister have been selling quality-constructed portable buildings by Derksen. “Our portable buildings are specially built by Derksen at the Kellyville factory,” says Patricia. The price is about $200 less, and they are built from surplus materials.
While Derksen buildings can be purchased or leased-to-own, Patricia explains that she offers good discounts on buildings that have been repossessed. “Regardless of your need, Derksen can provide you a building, new or used,” she said. “After you make the decision to get a portable building, check out our large inventory.”
Pressure-treated materials, reinforced doors, sturdy tresses and other options available on Derksen buildings are just a few of the reasons the Armbristers decided to sell the products, which are made the old-fashioned way in the Mennonite Craftsmanship tradition.
Derksen’s portable buildings, sheds, garages and cabins also include an industry-leading warranty on treated Wood Strand Technology siding, which resists fungal rot and decay, termites, splitting, cracking and warping in a rich cedar grain texture. “Also, our buildings include 2” x 4” wall studs doubled under siding seams, 2” x 6” treated floor joists into notched 4” x 6” treated skids, and 2’ x 4’ reinforced doors designed to seal out rain and key-locked for protection. Sizes range from 8’ x 12’ to 16’ x 40’ and customers can choose from different styles of barns, cabins, cottages, utility sheds and garages with options like lofts, windows, doors and gable roofs.”
Choices also include a basic electric package, wall and ceiling insulation, inside paneling and pre-finished flooring. “Customers can now opt to have their building painted or pressure-treated and the price is the same,” adds Patricia.
Shingled roofs come with a 30-year warranty, while the 29-gauge standard metal roofs come with a 40-year warranty. The company also offers a five-year craftsmanship warranty.
Another option for the customer is a built-on-site building. “With a building built on your site, some of these options like the basic electric package are not available,” she says.
With Derksen’s buy-or-lease program and no credit check, customers can save money when compared to renting at a storage facility long-term. “Buying or leasing a Derksen building is hassle-free,” says Patricia. “You can lease or purchase a building up to 60 months.” There is also no penalty for early payoff. Delivery and setup are available at no extra charge.
“To fit your budget, we can discuss your building needs and the best options for you,” says Patricia. “We can discuss metal buildings, which can be less expensive from Derksen with the same quality workmanship.” The Armbristers have two additional locations: Oologah, located right next to the Sonic, and in Chelsea on State Highway 20 East, next to Kum & Go by the turnpike. “Our son, Jeff, is managing those locations,” she adds.
