Broken Arrow Neighbors serves the Broken Arrow Community as a basic-needs service agency for residents who have found themselves in compromised situations due in part to food and financial insecurity.  The agency offers numerous resources geared to guiding individuals to self-sufficiency.  The many programs offered include a client-choice food pantry, financial assistance, free medical and dental clinics, outreach services to Broken Arrow’s senior population, school supplies for students and holiday assistance to families.
Wine, Eats & Easels is a major fundraiser for Broken Arrow Neighbors and is a critical factor supporting the organization’s budget for annual program costs.  Your help is needed and encouraged.
“Wine, Eats & Easels is scheduled for Friday, August 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Farmer’s Market on Main located at 418 South Main Street in Downtown Broken Arrow,” stated Broken Arrow Neighbors Executive Director Kim Goddard.  The stage is set for an evening of multi-faceted entertainment featuring the unforgettable sounds of jazz great Grady Nichols.
As Broken Arrow’s wine tasting event, you must be 21 or over to attend Wine, Eats & Easels.  In addition to the great music, your pallet will be introduced to multiple award-winning tastes and tantalizing treats from local wineries and restaurants.  The evening will also be peppered with the phenomenal talents of local, and not-so-local, artists as you enjoy a casual stroll through the Farmer’s Market Pavilion and surrounding areas on a mid-summer’s night.  Although Wine, Eats & Easels is a great party, it supports an even greater cause by supporting local individuals and families who are facing unfortunate insecurities.
Tickets to Wine, Eats & Easels are available at all AVB Bank locations. They are $40 before the event and $50 the day of the event. You may also purchase tickets at Broken Arrow Neighbors or from any WEE Committee Member.  For a $25 donation to the evening of festivities, you will be entitled to a make a “pull” from a selection of unidentified wines valued from $25 to $100.  Each wine-pull selection will also include a piece of jewelry.
Other evening attractions will include creations by Rustic Cuff, a photo booth and the world-famous Butt Sketch artist.  There will be a VIP Room on the third floor of the Broken Arrow Historical Museum for high-level sponsors only.  The VIP Room includes food and beverages including a signature drink, plus a balcony overlooking event activities below. For more information contact Kim Goddard at BA Neighbors.
Some of your Main Street BA Merchants are scheduled to offer specials the day of the event.   All in all, Wine, Eats & Easels provides a delightfully fun evening that provides assistance with dignity to our less fortunate BA neighbors.
