3rd Annual Greenwood Film Festival
August 2-6

Based in the historic home of Black Wall Street, the festival remembers and keeps alive the lessons learned from the rise and fall of the Greenwood District. Taste of Summer Ice Cream Festival
August 5, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The Taste of Summer event in Central Park is considered a summer staple in Broken Arrow. This ice cream festival invites guests to enjoy a family fun zone with inflatables and face painting, a car show, art vendors, food trucks, live entertainment, a steak cook-off and all-you-can-eat Blue Bell ice cream. Broken Arrow is home to legendary Blue Bell Creamery, and this event packs a lot of fun into one day. Enjoy a festival atmosphere surrounded by scoops of your favorite Blue Bell flavors. Water Lantern Festival
August 5, 5:30p.m. - 9:30p.m.

The Water Lantern Festival has been voted one of the best cultural festivals in the county by USA Today! You are invited to enjoy the beauty of thousands of lanterns reflecting off the beautiful waterways. A ticket to the event also includes a floating lantern kit, an LED candle, a commemorative drawstring bag, a marker, playing cards and games. Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning
August 25-27

The Oklahoma Festival of Ballooning 3 day event will feature tethered balloon rides, food trucks, helicopter rides, children’s activities, live music, a 5-k run, parachute jumpers and much more. Highlights of the event include nightly balloon glows, morning flights and a fireworks finale on Sunday night. Daily admission is $10 per car, and all ages are welcome!

Pioneer Day Festival
September 21-23

Pioneer Day Festival starts with “Chalk the Walk” and the Color Run; the Pioneer Day Parade starts at 9:00a.m. The midway will have food vendors, amusement rides, carnival games, talent competition, petting zoo, kid’s fishing derby, chalk art contest, rodeo, live music, and more. BlackGold Days
September 28-October 1, Hours: Thursday and Friday, 4:00p.m. - 11:00; Saturday, 10:00a.m. - 11:00pm.; Sunday, 10:00a.m. -6:00p.m.

BlackGold Days family-friendly festival is in its 45th year, and is located in BlackGold Park in Glenpool, Oklahoma. It runs from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 with more than 10,000 attendees expected to experience the largest event of the year for the community. It also attracts vendors from all over Oklahoma and surrounding states. VIP Night is free for sponsors on Sept. 28; $1 carnival-ride night is Sept. 28; included in the festival is a KidZone, a pie-baking contest, a chili cook-off, a petting zoo, carnival rides and a beer garden.
