National Trails Day Guided Hike
June 1, 2024, 8:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.

Join River Parks and Turkey Mountain for National Trails Day on June 1st. There will be guided hikes leaving hourly from the lower lot near the restrooms and Turkey Mtn Sign from 8am to 1pm. 6850 S. Elwood Ave. Thanks to Ascension St. John, the first 400 hikers will receive a special edition Turkey Mtn National Trails Day Water Bottle! Hikes will be approximately 3 miles and last 1.5 hours. Not recommended for those with mobility or breathing issues. There is some sections of steep grade and 100 feet (10-story building) of elevation gain.

Fishing Derby
June 1, 2024, 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.

In celebration of Free Fishing Day in Oklahoma, join us at Nienhuis Park East Pond for the annual Fishing Derby. No fishing license is required on June 1-2. Fishing poles are available to borrow for those with no equipment.

Known to many as Oklahoma's biggest outdoor picnic, Bartlesville's SunFest returns for a long weekend of relaxed, family-friendly entertainment. SunFest features live musical entertainment, a diverse selection of arts and crafts, children's games, storytellers, food and much more. Enjoy the sounds of jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, bluegrass, and contemporary Christian music while over 20 individual artists and bands perform on three stages throughout Sooner Park. Another highlight of this summer celebration is the annual SunFest Car Show, held on Saturday.  Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, modified vehicles, low-riders, imports and more. See which vehicles win the top three awards in several categories. SunFest also features delicious fair food from over two dozen food vendors. Take a break with a tasty treat in the large dining tent, or simply browse through food vendors offering everything from traditional, down-home favorites to ethnic specialties.

A Ride to Remember Black Wall Street
June 1, 2024, 7:00a.m. – 4:00p.m.

Hop on your bike and take a tour of one of Oklahoma's most storied areas during the Ride to Remember Black Wall Street. The tour features routes ranging from 15 to 70 miles that highlight Tulsa and the historic Black Wall Street area. The beautiful yet challenging routes will cross the Skiatook Dam, Blue Water Tower, and Sperry on the way back. Learn about one of Oklahoma's most pivotal points in history while enjoying the beautiful Tulsa scenery during the Ride to Remember Black Wall Street.

All Day Black Towns Bus Tour
June 1, 2024, 8:00a.m.

Learn about Oklahoma's African-American history during the All-Black Towns Bus Tour. Between 1865 and 1915, there were roughly 60 black towns settled in the United States, and Oklahoma led all the other states with more than 20 within its borders. Learn the fascinating history of these towns on this unique tour. This all-day tour event will depart from Rudisill Regional Library in Tulsa and travel to the historic areas like Redbird, Tullahassee and the Fort Gibson Historic Site. Space is limited, so please purchase tickets in advance at Rudisill Regional Library in person. Ticket cost covers breakfast, lunch, and museum fare.

Mother Road Rally
June 1, 2024, 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.

Celebrate Route 66 in Tulsa this June with a full day of fun at the Mother Road Rally. Held along the Tulsa Market District, this event will be full of nostalgia and fun including the classic car and bike show. In addition to the car show, there will be a collection of vendors and artist booths as well as live music and entertainment. Guests can grab a bite to eat at one of the many local food trucks in attendance. Don't miss out on this free-to-attend Route 66 event in Tulsa this June.

Oklahoma Renaissance Festival
June 1- 2, 2024

Step back in time to the 16th century with Queen Elizabeth I of England and over 400 entertainers and artisans as they create the boisterous Village of Castleton at the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Held at the Castle of Muskogee, this beloved annual event features a royal court, jousters and jesters, magicians, musicians, and minstrels. Delight your taste buds with wonderful and unique foods or browse through more than 125 handcrafted booths for one-of-a-kind items. Bring the entire family and enjoy a day in Renaissance England. Journey to an age of sorcerers, knights in shining armor, kings, queens, and maidens fair. When planning your voyage to Castleton, it is important to note, costumes are encouraged. On any festival day, patrons may discover guests dressed as fairies, Renaissance villagers and nobles, Sci-fi characters and even pirates. There will be living history demonstrations and marvelous live performances, like a life-size game of chess played by characters, a jousting tournament, thrilling acrobatic feats, KnightWings Birds of Prey and more. A children's realm featuring games and hands-on demonstrations provides hours of fun. Kids may visit the Ultimate Maze and take part in the Royal Quest and the Children's Knighting Ceremony. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink at one of the many merchants stationed throughout the festival grounds. Special evening events include the Masque'd Ball and The Pirate's Feaste.

Port City Volkswagen Show 2024
June 1- 2, 2024, 9:00a.m. – 3:00p.m

The Adventures of Princess Atlantis

Owasso Community Theatre Presents The Adventures of Princess Atlantis May 30-June 2 Owasso Community Theatre presents a children’s production of The Adventures of Princess Atlantis written and directed by Mark Frank May 30-June 1st at 7pm and June 2nd at 2pm at Morrow Elementary 12301 N 132nd E Ave, Collinsville, Oklahoma 74021. There she meets Everyone, a feisty fairy, Joe, the gentle giant, Pink, the fastest unicorn on the planet, and Smoke, a tiny dragon. Together, they all try to save the Enchanted Lands from the evil Spider King and Queen Lake, who want to take over the entire Earth with their powerful Sword of Darkness. A new, fresh children's story for the whole family filled with magical adventure that speaks about friendships, believing in yourself, affection, jealousy, treachery, life, death, and the importance of a child having a loving forever family through foster care and adoption.

Starlight Series: “A Certain Kind of Swing”

Starlight Concert's 78th season opener is on Tuesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. The Starlight Jazz Orchestra will present "A Certain Kind of Swing". The Starlight Band is not only one of Oklahoma’s oldest performing institutions, it’s also Oklahoma’s only professional concert band, and is proud to be one of the oldest in the nation, in league with Dallas, Chicago, Detroit, and New York City. Today’s Starlight Band boasts up to 50 musicians from Signature Symphony, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, and Bartlesville Symphony, as well as music educators from area schools and universities, both active and retired. Approximately 20 outstanding jazz musicians make up the Starlight Jazz Orchestra, and over the years our conductors have included such local legends as George Brite, Jimmie Saied, and L. Dale Barnett.

An Evening with Layli Long Soldier

Saint Francis Tulsa Tough
June 7 – June 9, 2024

Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is an annual three-day cycling festival designed to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles while showcasing the beautiful city of Tulsa. Races begin Friday evening with a Men's Cat 3, Women’s Pro 1/2, Men’s 1/2, and Men's Pro 1 under the lights of downtown Tulsa’s Blue Dome Entertainment District. A spectator must-see, the races are fast and weave through crowded streets lined with bars and restaurants. With events for all skill levels in the historic Tulsa Arts District, Saturday is designed for the whole family with races, Gran Fondo rides of 40, 70 and a monster 110 mile, and more. On Sunday, events include the Tulsa Townie Ride, Gran Fondo rides of 40, 66 and 108 miles. Sunday's main event is the grueling River Parks Criterium, known to test even the most experienced racers. Running along the scenic Arkansas River and home of "Cry Baby Hill," this race distinguishes Tulsa Tough from other races. Winners of the team and individual omnium competition will be crowned after Sunday’s races. Pre-registration is required for all races and rides. Sunday also includes the Tulsa Tough Kid's Zone on Riverside Drive. The enclosed area will have inflatables, age-appropriate toys, and plenty of kid friendly activities. It is aimed at children ages two to eleven, and parents are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and snacks. You won't want to miss all the festivities and action this year, so bring the family and enjoy this top-notch Oklahoma event.

Movie in the Park: “Riding Legacy”

Bass Reeves Western History Conference

See the story of Bass Reeves come to life during the Bass Reeves Western History Conference. Bass Reeves was the first African-American to be commissioned as a U.S. Deputy Marshal west of the Mississippi River. After Oklahoma gained statehood in 1907, Jim Crow laws prevented him from continuing as a deputy marshal, and he joined the Muskogee Police Department. This event is ticketed and includes territorial re-enactors, special speakers, interactive tours, documentaries, contests, food, and fun. Learn about Bass, the Light Horseman and other historic figures during the Indian Territory time period. Attendees are welcome and encouraged to dress in Western attire.

Turkey Rocks! The Geology of Turkey Mountain for the Non-Geologist Tour
June 22, 2024, 10:00a.m. – 12:30p.m.

Turkey Rocks is a 2-mile easy to moderate hike with multiple stops on established trails. Geologist, Steve King, will lead the tour and discuss features and the processes that created them. The most common fossils of the period will be seen and discussed. The features, processes, and fossils are evidence and chapters within the story of when and how Turkey Mountain was formed. This hike can be strenuous in places and is NOT recommended for people with mobility issues or children under 14. The hike will last about 2 hours.
Limit of 2 tickets per order. We can only have about 10 people in each group hike so tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. NO TICKETS will be sold the day of or onsite.

Green Corn Festival
