These days, when you walk into Classic Chevrolet of Owasso, you will see some new faces. The dealership recently welcomed a new general manager, Chris Gilmore, as well as two new managers in used cars, Robert Stinnett and Chris Taff. 

But right along with these new additions, the dealership and its service department still retain many long term employees, some of whom have been at Classic for over a decade. Service Director Mike Fitzpatrick has been at Classic for twenty-five years; he reports, “Car sales are increasing at Classic Chevrolet, where a positive atmosphere and attitude create a great environment for customers and employees alike.” “We’re going back to Old Style ways of doing business,” he says.   “Service is straightforward and honest, whether customers are purchasing a new or used vehicle or requesting service on a vehicle.”

Business practices are traditional, but the service department at Classic Chevrolet continues to keep up with the rapid advances in technology for repairing vehicles. Fitzpatrick states, “This makes a huge difference and why it is so important to have your vehicle serviced at the dealership. Vehicles have become ‘Infotainment Centers.’ It’s amazing what you can do with your car and what your car can do for you these days.” But intricate problems can crop up with intricate technology, making expert and specific service all the more important. Classic’s Service Department has the latest GM technology that can quickly diagnose the problem with your vehicle so that GM Master Trained Technicians can tackle the problem immediately.  In addition, technicians have all the proper GM certified parts and tools for quick and easy access during a repair. All of this saves time—something most people would agree is a highly valuable commodity.

The ability to strike a balance between keeping up with the latest technology and maintaining tried and true values is one of the reasons Classic Chevrolet is the largest, longest running locally owned Chevrolet dealer in the Tulsa Metro Area.  “We still do the little things, like hand wash and vacuum every car that comes through our service department,” says Fitzpatick. “We are committed to making sure that customers are taken care of.”
