Special Events Planned at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Birthplace Ranch

Spring kicks off a whole new list of activities and entertainment at the Will Rogers Museum and Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. There are monthly events such as Family Days, Learning Lectures, Will’s Cowboy Trader Days, and Movie Nights. Moreover, this year’s plans for their MAIN EVENTS include an April 20,000 egg Easter Egg Hunt, Will’s Wild West Kids Camp in June, in July kids will love staying overnight in the Memorial Museum at Overnight at the Chuckwagon, the spectacular Will Rogers/Wiley Post Fly-in comes in August,  Halloween Night, Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival and movie-making Dog-Iron Awards dominate November, and Will’s Country Christmas and Santa Pictures round out the holiday season.

Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Elected Official of the Year During BA Day at the Capitol

The Broken Arrow Chamber wrapped up BA Day at the Capitol with a reception where they presented City Councilor Johnnie Parks with their 2021 Elected Official of the Year award. City Councilor Johnnie Parks has spent the last forty-three years serving Broken Arrow as a City Councilor, Vice Mayor, and as a member of the Planning Commission.  Councilor Parks served as the Ward One City Councilor from 1979 to 1994, he was a member of the Planning Commission from 1995 to 2011 and was elected to the At Large seat for City Council in 2011 and this is the seat he currently still holds.

The Claremore Home & Garden show is a two-day event, March 25–26, 2022, at the Claremore Expo Center.  This a very efficient way to discover new products and find qualified Vendors for your home and garden needs.  It’s a good balance of providers, food and fun for the entire family….and ADMISSION IS FREE!
