Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Arts Festival

Make your way to the Tulsa Arts District to attend Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Arts Festival at ONEOK Field and Living Arts of Tulsa. This Hispanic cultural celebration serves as a remembrance of loved ones who have passed. Mixing parts of Roman Catholicism with Native American traditions that pre-date the arrival of the Spanish in the Americas, Tulsa's Dia De Los Muertos Arts Festival will feature live music, Mexican food and more.

Bring the kids out to this family-friendly event for children's activities including face painting and sugar skull decorating at Living Arts of Tulsa. Munch on some fresh churros, grab a drink from the bar and get out on the dance floor for a cultural experience to remember.

Watch Mexican dancing and browse unique items for sale in the artist's market open at ONEOK Field. Join the Día de Los Muertos traditions with a display of altars to honor those who have passed, a special blessing and procession. These altars will remain on display at Living Arts of Tulsa during the festival.

Color Breed Congress

The Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. presents the Color Breed Congress, a show exhibiting four separate horse breeds simultaneously. Participating associations in the show include the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, Appaloosa Horse Club, American Buckskin Registry Association, National Snaffle Bit Association, Ranch Horse Congress, and Long Ear Congress. Tiny Tulsa: An Accessible & Sensory-Inclusive Free Play Program

Bring your child to Tiny Tulsa at The Gathering Place every Saturday for a sensory-inclusive play experience. This program is designed for Pre-K through 5th grade students and their families. The event will feature low lighting, soothing sounds, creative toys, art materials, and adaptive play elements that will provide a welcoming space for everyone. Hats Off to Will

Will Rogers Days, Indigenous Heritage Day and National Native American Heritage Month begins the first Saturday of November. The Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club has been celebrating Will’s birthday since the Will Rogers Memorial Museum was opened in 1938.

The Ceremony will begin at the Rotunda with Club members dressed in their Cherokee Tear dresses and red Pocahontas Club shawls around the bronze statue of Will Rogers, as they recite their Club Collect and place a basket of fall foliage at the foot of the statue. The Club members will proceed to the Tomb for the Wreath Laying Ceremony, led by the Cherokee Nation Veteran Color Guard.

There will be a program in the Will Rogers Theater following the Wreath Laying Ceremony with guest speakers Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin, Jr., Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilman for District 14, Kevin Easley, Jr., and special entertainment by Jana Jae “Queen of Fiddle”, member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and the National Fiddler Hall of Fame.

Pumpkin Festival

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross & Heart of the Shepherd September 23 – November 8, 2025 Tuesday – Saturday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Open Monday, October 27th Join Shepherd’s Cross and Heart of the Shepherd for their annual Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy a peaceful day in the country at an authentic working sheep farm, located just north of Claremore off Route 66. Filled with family-inclusive, fun, educational activities with no scares. Admission and parking are free; no hidden costs to spend the day at the farm. There are over 60 free activities to enjoy with your family on the farm. Explore the walk-through Pumpkin Patch with Hay Maze and Game Area. Pet sheep, goats, donkeys, and alpacas in the Farm Animal Barn petting area. Walk the Bible Garden and see pumpkins growing on the vine surrounded by sunflowers and festive fall flora. Find picturesque country scenes for perfect fall family photos. Look around the farm for our QR Code Scavenger hunt and watch short videos about farming and shepherding. The only paid-for activity is the wagon ride. Enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride on a ramp-loading trailer through the hay meadow. Wagon ride tickets are available for $6.50 per person; 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are every 30 minutes. Loads of pumpkins are available in all shapes, sizes, and colors for purchase, starting at $1.50 each. Pumpkin Packages are also available, which include a pumpkin (size of pumpkin varies with type of package), wagon ride, and a take-home craft or bring some old clothes to make your own scarecrow. The Hex House

Travel to Tulsa for The Hex House, northeast Oklahoma's extreme haunted attraction. The Hex House is an intense, multi-element, walk-through haunted house attraction themed around a dark chapter in Tulsa's haunted past. The original Hex House was involved in a 1944 police investigation surrounding a small casket buried in the backyard of a Tulsa house and two young women who had been under hypnotic or occult control for seven years. The investigation was nicknamed the "Hex House" case since it had all the spooky elements of a Halloween story. Founded in 2003, the Rose District Farmer's Market, 418 S. Main St., is in the heart of Broken Arrow's award-winning Rose District. Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Guided Teaching Garden Tour

The Teaching Garden is 1.55 acres of pure magic, intentional planning, and impeccable care. On your volunteer-led Teaching Garden tour, visit the many different sections of the Garden, learn about notable design decisions, interact with a wide array of plants, and develop a deeper appreciation of Tulsa’s gem, the Teaching Garden. Spin-n-Knit-In

On the second Saturday of each month, drop by the farm to watch or participate as we fellowship and work hand crafts and fiber arts. Bring a craft to work on or come for a "free help session" with fiber arts such as spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, or felting. Shepherd’s Cross offers weaving and fiber arts classes year-round, on an individual or group basis. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility and a Made in Oklahoma Company that processes Animal Welfare Approved fiber (that is chemical free, hormone free, free range, all natural). Shepherd’s Cross hosts a mini wool mill, processing wool from their own sheep, raised on site. Heart of the Shepherd is the non-profit organization (501-C3) that operates at the farm and establishes wool mills in remote, impoverished areas around the world. Heart of the Shepherd teaches Biblical references to the harvest, the animals, farming, and gardening. McNellie's Pub Run

The annual Tulsa McNellie's Pub Run is a downtown Tulsa tradition that combines running (or walking) with beer drinking. Beginning promptly at 3pm, this timed event will be an on-street race. Experience one of the world's largest collections of holiday inflatables and Christmas lights during Castle Christmas hosted at the Castle of Muskogee. Grab a bag of kettle corn from Rudolph's Cafe before you head inside to drive through Castleton Village's winter wonderland. Awe at over 2,000 displays and thousands of twinkling lights ranging from four to 20 feet in height. Bring the whole family and hop on an old-fashioned, tractor-drawn hayride or chug along on the Christmas Train for a unique experience through the festive displays.

Castle Christmas will also feature camel and pony rides for the kids and a special visit from Santa and Rudolph. Visit the holiday gift shop and create a festive ornament with Santa's elves or enjoy a free holiday movie shown at the castle. After enjoying several on-site activities, stop by Rudolph's Cafe for hot chocolate and other holiday treats. This event is free; however, donations are much appreciated. Garden of Lights

Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

Botanic Garden of Lights

Visit a magical garden aglow with festive lights during the Garden of Lights at the Tulsa Botanic Garden this November and December. Add your wish to the Wishing Tree, take photos at the holiday selfie photo booth, grab a warm drink from the holiday bar and roast marshmallows over fire pits to make s'mores. Warm drinks, beer, wine, and s'more kits are available every night for purchase. A food truck will be on-site each night.
