Ralph and Fay Higinbotham and Monte Whitaker are Owners of Premier Collision Center in Broken Arrow. Ralph is a veteran of the Vietnam War, in which he served as an Army Medic. During his tenure he was presented with the Award of the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism…above and beyond the call of duty in the Republic of Vietnam. Specialist Four Higinbotham distinguished himself by exceptionally valorous actions…while participating in an air support mission. Friendly elements were encircled by a North Vietnamese company.
Enemy fire from a bunker at the edge of a wood line raked the area so heavily that casualties could not be moved back for evacuation. Twice, when the helicopter landed within seventy-five meters of the hostile fortification, Ralph jumped from the craft amid the hostile fusillade to recover the wounded. Ralph also received a letter of recommendation from Major General George L. Mabry, Jr., US Army Chief of Staff.
During a past interview with the Higinbothams, Ralph shared one of his favorite quotes credited to Wyatt Earp. “Integrity is doing the right thing…whether or not anyone is watching.” The quote ties in well with Ralph’s actions in Vietnam and with the way he and Fay run their business. PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) is a preferred method of repairing hail damage, door dings, minor creases, large dents and bodyline damages. “Using PDR can usually save the customer and the insurance company a lot of money,” says Ralph. “And we extend a Lifetime Warranty on all paint and workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle.
The company provides windshield and window replacements and offers pickup and delivery when needed. Avis Rent a Car is also located next door (in the same building) if you need to rent a vehicle.
