By, Macy Goodnight; Suburban Chevrolet’s Parts and Service Department is located right off of Route 66 in Claremore.  They have been providing quality care for cars and trucks, with the highest caliber of customer-oriented service, for over 35 years.  Manager Brian Finley recommends routine maintenance of a vehicle to keep it in top condition and trusts his experienced and knowledgeable team to provide the best service.  In the event that something in a car or truck should fail, however, a warranty will make sure that no matter where you go, you’re covered.  “Repairs on a vehicle can be very expensive,” he said, “but having a warranty can save a lot of money in the long run, and provide extra protection for them.”

General Motors offers a general warranty of 3 years and 36,000 miles bumper to bumper standard on vehicles purchased.  Beyond the standard, an extended warranty can be purchased to fill the gaps and to ensure coverage after the standard warranty expires.  “These extended warranties are reasonably priced, and can usually be financed with the car, but can be purchased after,” Brian said.  Suburban utilizes the 3-Sixty Automotive Extended Warranty Plans, with different levels of service coverage available.  Select, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels are offered with pricing for each, graduating respectively.  All plans will cover the basic engine, transmission, and drive axle.  Each plan will gradually offer more as they are secured higher in range.  The Platinum level being the highest, provides coverage that most mirrors the manufacturer’s warranty, with some exclusions.  Additionally, nationwide benefits can include 24-hour towing, rental, 24-hour roadside assistance, and more.

The general warranty that comes standard with GM vehicles can be used anywhere that services their brands.  The extended warranty from 3-Sixty Automotive is honored by Suburban Chevrolet, or any others that accept this particular extended warranty program.

According to Consumer Affairs, GM’s standard warranty pros are that coverage is transferrable, there are several plan options, and that it can directly extend the factory warranty.  The biggest drawback as that coverage is only available at the vehicle’s point of sale.  Enter the extended warranty, which can be purchased after, can save money, and are customizable.  However, as with most anything else, always read the details of each plan, and understand them thoroughly, to ensure optimal coverage and no surprises, in case the need arises to use it.

The Service team at Suburban is equipped to handle all automotive needs, with a highly qualified and experienced staff.  “We take care of our customers, not take advantage of them,” said Brian.  “We don’t rush in and rush out.  We take our time and get the best results.”

In addition to Brian’s 16 years of experience in the industry, his service advisors, Nate Lusby and Scott Monroe, have a combined experience of almost 50 years between them. “Scott’s skill level and customer service are incredible.  I’ve never seen anyone take care of customers the way he does,” said Brian.  “Nate is amazing.  He has patience, excellent customer care, is knowledgeable and super smart.”

Other team members include World Class GM Certified Technicians and a vast assemblage of skills and experience collectively, that extends to reliable, confident, and competent customer service for their clients.  “We want our customers to pull in and feel comfortable,” Brian said.  “We want them to see the same faces every time and to build relationships with them.”
