Every Christmas season, businesses, organizations, and individuals donate uniquely decorated trees to be on display at the Broken Arrow Historical Society Museum. After the exhibit ends, the trees are donated to Broken Arrow Neighbors and dispersed to their clients. If anyone, business, individual or organization, is interested in donating a tree, please contact the museum at (918) 258-2616. A 2015 Christmas Tree Exhibit form can be downloaded from the website at www.bahistoricalsociety.com.
“Our anticipation for this year’s exhibit began the moment last year’s ended. We are always excited to see the unique and varied trees on display in our exhibit hall. Seeing the joy that fills the faces of the recipients of these trees makes all of the hard work worthwhile. We are just happy to be able to share in the experience with Broken Arrow Neighbors,” stated Lori Lewis, executive director of the Broken Arrow Historical Society Museum.
Broken Arrow Neighbors is an interfaith organization that provides basic needs emergency assistance to more than 11,000 financially disadvantaged people in the Broken Arrow area. A significant number of these clients require multiple visits to Broken Arrow Neighbors to build on services that help them regain or maintain their desired level of self-sufficiency.
Regular admission rates apply to the Christmas Tree Exhibit. All children under the age of 18 are free. Adults are $5 or two for $8. The exhibit will be held November 5 through December 12, Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information about donating a tree, contact Lori Lewis at (918) 258-2616 or eat0@eau0eav0eaw0 or visit
