The exploration of rocks and minerals is a fascinating one, and for those that have a curiosity about geology and aspects of earth sciences, the Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society show in July is a perfect place to begin learning. The Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society is dedicated to encouraging interest in collecting rocks, minerals, fossils and artifacts, and do so by providing educational programs for schools and adult groups at any time of the year. The show has been running for over 30 years, and the society itself has been in existence since 1958.

There is something quite magical about the natural treasures that one can find scattered about the earth, if they know what they are looking for. For the Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society, it’s a passion they want to share with everyone. On the weekend of July 17-18, the society will host its annual Rock, Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show at the Exchange Center, Tulsa County Fairgrounds, to share their passion with everyone. Saturday the show will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show is open to the public, and will amaze and inspire visitors with gems, beads, fossils, jewelry, crystals and much more!

The Tulsa Rock and Mineral Society presents the annual Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show July 13-14 at the Tulsa Fairgrounds Exchange Center. General admission is only $6 per adult or $10 for a two-day pass. Entry is free for uniformed public service members and children under 12.
