Founded in 2003, the Rose District Farmer's Market, 418 S. Main St., is in the heart of Broken Arrow's award-winning Rose District. Its proximity to area shops and restaurants allows customers to experience all the Rose District offers. The market initially started with only 10 vegetable vendors. Over the years, it has grown to a two-day market with more than 50 unique vendors offering locally grown and hand-crafted products. There is also a mid-week market, every Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Oklahoma Renaissance Faire

Step back in time to the 16th century with Queen Elizabeth I of England and over 400 entertainers and artisans as they create the boisterous Village of Castleton at the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Held at the Castle of Muskogee, this beloved annual event features a royal court, jousters and jesters, magicians, musicians, and minstrels. Delight your taste buds with wonderful and unique foods or browse through more than 125 handcrafted booths for one-of-a-kind items. Bring the entire family and enjoy a day in Renaissance England. Journey to an age of sorcerers, knights in shining armor, kings, queens, and maidens fair. When planning your voyage to Castleton, it is important to note, costumes are encouraged. On any festival day, patrons may discover guests dressed as fairies, Renaissance villagers and nobles, Sci-fi characters and even pirates. There will be living history demonstrations and marvelous live performances, like a life-size game of chess played by characters, a jousting tournament, thrilling acrobatic feats, KnightWings Birds of Prey and more. A children's realm featuring games and hands-on demonstrations provides hours of fun. Kids may visit the Ultimate Maze and take part in the Royal Quest and the Children's Knighting Ceremony. Germanfest
May 2-4, 2025
Dine on authentic German fare, listen to live polka music, and watch as skilled folk dancers grace the stage at the annual Germanfest in Tulsa. Held at the German-American Society of Tulsa (GAST) Event Center, Germanfest is a fun-filled, family-friendly festival that invites all ages out to celebrate and learn about German culture. Oklahoma Renaissance Faire

Step back in time to the 16th century with Queen Elizabeth I of England and over 400 entertainers and artisans as they create the boisterous Village of Castleton at the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Held at the Castle of Muskogee, this beloved annual event features a royal court, jousters and jesters, magicians, musicians, and minstrels. Delight your taste buds with wonderful and unique foods or browse through more than 125 handcrafted booths for one-of-a-kind items. Bring the entire family and enjoy a day in Renaissance England. Journey to an age of sorcerers, knights in shining armor, kings, queens, and maidens fair. When planning your voyage to Castleton, it is important to note, costumes are encouraged. On any festival day, patrons may discover guests dressed as fairies, Renaissance villagers and nobles, Sci-fi characters and even pirates. There will be living history demonstrations and marvelous live performances, like a life-size game of chess played by characters, a jousting tournament, thrilling acrobatic feats, KnightWings Birds of Prey and more. A children's realm featuring games and hands-on demonstrations provides hours of fun. Kids may visit the Ultimate Maze and take part in the Royal Quest and the Children's Knighting Ceremony. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food and drink at one of the many merchants stationed throughout the festival grounds. Special evening events include the Masque'd Ball and The Pirate's Feaste.

Gospel Sing – Oklahoma Farmers Market Week Celebration – Spin-n-Knit-In Saturday, June 14th, 2025 Shepherd’s Cross is hosting its annual Gospel Sing. All individuals, families, or church groups are invited to listen or participate. Gospel, Country Christian, Worship and Hymns will be enjoyed inside the Tour Barn. The Gospel Sing is from 1pm to 4pm. We are recruiting volunteer musicians to bring your instruments, your voice, and your favorite songs. Folks can pick, sing, and play together – like the good old days! Those who register in advance are given priority on the roster that fills quickly. However, we will allow walk-ins as time allows. This is also the final day of the inaugural Oklahoma Farmers Market Week. Shepherd's Cross features Farm Fresh and Hand Made Products including: Honey, eggs, chicken, beef, lamb, bread, herbs, baked goods, jams, kefir, kombucha, candy, nuts, produce (limited quantities), pottery, artwork, wool yarn and so much more! We accept cash, card, SNAP/EBT, SFMNP, and Cherokee Nation WIC Farmer's Market. Free gift for every child that visits the farm (limit of one per child). Free bundle of herbs (limit of one per person - Sat. June 14 only) You may even participate in our monthly “Spin-n-Knit-In” where individuals bring and work on their fiber arts projects such as spinning, knitting etc. This is our monthly free help session for fiber arts. Join over 20,000 visitors at this annual event and sample chili from cooking teams during the Mid-America Regional Chili Cook-Off. Whether your taste buds crave spicy, mild or something in-between, this chili cook-off is guaranteed to satisfy any appetite. World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off

A Vinita tradition since 1979, the World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off features live music, vendors, and cowboy games. Celebrate Vinita's rich ranching history by tasting the festival's namesake and local delicacy—calf fries. Visitors who wish to taste the calf fries (also referred to as Rocky Mountain oysters) can purchase tickets to enter the cooking area. Vote for your favorite team in the People's Choice competition and sample other treats including beans, cobblers, salsa, and breads made by the various cook-off teams. Celebrity judges will determine the overall winners. The World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off serves up an average of 2,000 pounds of calf fries and welcomes about 1,500 attendees each year.
