Scotfest Burns Night

Don your kilt, penguin suit, or fine evening gown to celebrate the life and writing of late Scottish bard Robert “Rabbie” Burns with fellow lovers of poetry on Scotfest Burns Night. Considered the national poet of Scotland, Burns’ works are narratives of farm life, religion, culture, and class. Burns was born on January 25, 1759 and tribute is paid to him on this day every year. The evening will feature performances by the Tulsa Metro Pipe Band, The Waxie Dargles as well as wonderful toasts, delightful and delicious food, ceildh dancing and more. Germanfest
May 1-3, 2026
Dine on authentic German fare, listen to live polka music and watch as skilled folk dancers grace the stage at the annual Germanfest in Tulsa. Held at the German-American Society of Tulsa (GAST) Event Center, Germanfest is a fun-filled, family-friendly festival that invites all ages out to celebrate and learn about German culture. Entertainment will include polka band and folk dancers. Snack on polish or smoked bratwurst piled high with sauerkraut on a bun or try the savory schnitzel sandwich. The three-day event will also feature numerous children's activities and the traditional crowning of the May Queen, a German ritual dating back to pagan times. There is plenty of on-site parking, and everyone is invited to have a great time at Germanfest. You won't want to miss this fun cultural extravaganza in Tulsa. Known to many as Oklahoma's biggest outdoor picnic, Bartlesville's SunFest returns for a long weekend of relaxed, family-friendly entertainment. SunFest features live music, a diverse selection of arts and crafts, children's games, storytellers, food and much more. Enjoy the sounds of jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, bluegrass and contemporary Christian music while over 20 individual artists and bands perform on three stages throughout Sooner Park. Another highlight of this summer celebration is the annual SunFest Car Show, held on Saturday. Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, modified vehicles, low-riders, imports and more. See which vehicles win the top three awards in several categories. Route 66 Heritage Festival

Black Gold Days in Glenpool celebrates the city's rich oil history with family-oriented activities and fun. Join the citizens of Glenpool as they honor the history of the local Glenn Pool oil field, which created numerous oil and oil-related companies in the area and helped the city prosper after its discovery in 1905. Black Gold Days features a carnival, numerous food vendors, free entertainment and a fireworks display. Known for its lineup of live music performers, this festival will feature everything from bluegrass and gospel, to rock and country. Fill up at the Lion's Club pancake breakfast Saturday morning. Kids will enjoy a frog jump, turtle races, a horseshoe tournament and a variety of other children's activities. The Broken Arrow Rose Festival is joining forces with Chalk It Up! Art Festival to provide a spectacular free, family-friendly fun weekend. Broken Arrow invites you to its beautiful Rose District on Main Street for activities such as Chalk It Up’s chalk drawing competition, the Rose Festival’s Annual Rose Show competition, artist and garden vendors, food trucks, a kid zone, and an art contest with art exhibit in the Arts@302 Gallery. The festival concludes on Sunday with Rose Kites over Broken Arrow at Events Park. This festival includes free kites to decorate with roses or whatever you like. The market's location is ideal due to the two large, covered pavilions with a state-of-the-art water feature in front of the plaza. Live music and a number of special events highlight the market, including cooking and gardening demonstrations, live radio broadcasts, a petting zoo, a kid's craft corner, and more.

Hearts of the Father Outreach will bring its Golf Tournament for the Orphans to Tulsa for the first time on Monday, November 2, 2026, continuing a 21-year fundraising tradition established in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The inaugural Oklahoma tournament at Meadowbrook Country Club will bring together golfers, community supporters and out-of-town guests to raise funds for vulnerable children in Ghana, Uganda and Southern India.
