The Tulsa Shootout is one of the largest micro sprint racing events in the country. With over 1,000 participants gathered at Tulsa Expo Square, this thrilling event promises to be an exciting four days of fierce competition. There is something for everyone with six different classes ranging from Winged and Non-Wing 600cc Outlaw Micros to the Jr. Sprint class. Tulsa Holiday Winter Circuit

January 1-4, 2026

The Tulsa Holiday Winter Circuit is held at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square in Tulsa. This AQHA-approved horse show features a full slate of Western and English events as well as roping and working cowhorse. Also included are the Versatility Ranch Horse classes that showcase the talents of a working ranch horse. Watch the graceful, well-groomed horses and talented riders as they display their abilities for the crowds.

US Road Running – Sapulpa

January 10, 2026

The New Year race is scheduled for January 10, 2026 at Kelly Lane Park in Sapulpa, Oklahoma (1151 S Park St, 74066). The event offers three distance options: 5K, 10K, and half marathon. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. The entry price increases on the Monday before the event. The meeting point is the pavilion next to the playground.

All Star Team Roping

All-Star Team Roping is an exciting format that is designed by team ropers to put the contestants first. Chili Bowl

January 11-17, 2026 | 8 - 11 a.m.

The Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals at Tulsa Expo Square's River Spirit Expo is an annual competition for Midget Sprint Car racing. Held each year for over 30 years, these races attract over 300 talented drivers from around the world. Five qualifying night races lead up to the championship competition on Saturday. See cars race around the quarter-mile clay oval track and perform slide jobs that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Watch young wrestlers compete in World of Wrestling's Tulsa Nationals, hosted at Tulsa Expo Square. Mad Dog Demolition Derby

January 17, 2026 | 6 p.m.

Make your way to the Mad Dog Demolition Derby at the Claremore Expo Center for an evening of fun and car smashing. Come, see, and hear one of the loudest events in Claremore, full of crushed metal and smashed cars. Drivers will compete in figure eight, mower derby and Hornet car circle racing. This event is fun for the whole family, with a mini car derby kids will love and a full-size derby fit for adults. Go Short, Go Long, Go Very Long

January 17, 2026

It's time to Go Short, Go Long, Go Very Long. This annual 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K is back again with distances for every level of runner or walker. All courses are along the paved River Parks Trail System in Tulsa and are very flat with the exception of one hill that is encountered once on the 25K course and twice on the 50K course. The 5K and 10K courses are very flat. There will be great finisher medals for all distances, a long-sleeved tech shirt and post-race food and beer.

Claremore Kennel Club Dog Show

This March, save the date for the 5th annual T-Town Half Marathon. This springtime half marathon plus 5K starts and finishes in downtown Tulsa. The half marathon includes several miles along the banks of the beautiful Arkansas River. The 5K is contested on downtown Tulsa streets, while the half marathon will be a mix of downtown streets and paved River Parks Trail. All entrants will receive a tech shirt as well as a great finisher medal and post-race refreshments.

Collinsville Hills 5K & Fun Run

April 4, 2026 | 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Lace up your running shoes and head to Collinsville this April for the Collinsville Hills 5K & Fun Run. Participants can sign up for either the 5K race or one-mile Fun Run through the streets of downtown Collinsville. This exciting event is part of the Collinsville Founders Day Celebration that will also take place downtown. Runners are encouraged to bring their dog to run alongside them to compete in the "Fastest Paws Contest." The fastest runner with a running dog will receive a prize. There will also be a pet costume contest. The 5K run will have first, second and third place winners per age/gender group. Dogs are welcome to run in the 5K as well, though there won't be a pet contest in the 5K. Register early to guarantee an event t-shirt and discounted registration price.

This unique bicycling event takes place on a 22-mile, out-and-back course, which is built on an old railroad line. There are no changes in elevation, making the track more of a mental endurance challenge, rather than a physical challenge. Whether you're taking on one of the shorter distances or making the full five laps on your quest to 100 miles, riders can move at their own pace. Zoo Run

Now in its 56th year, Oklahoma Central Credit Union ZooRun is the second-oldest running event in Tulsa. With a CommunityCare 10k & 5k, plus the 1-mile Fun Run, there is a pace for everyone! Entry fees include a race bib, a finisher medal, access to the post-race hospitality area and free entry into the zoo afterward. T-shirts are guaranteed if registered by March 13, 2026. It’s been years in the making, and now it’s official; the 2026 HOT ROD Power Tour will cruise along legendary Route 66 as the world’s largest rolling automotive festival helps celebrate 100 years of America’s most famous roadway. The Power Tour runs June 8–12, 2026, starting in Illinois and ending in Oklahoma, following one of the most nostalgic and culturally important stretches of pavement in American history.
