Join us August 2nd and 3rd for the 2025 Summer Fest Hunter Jumper Horse Show. Stewart Equine Enterprises is bringing The Oklahoma Hunter Jumper Association “O” Rated Show to the Claremore Expo! There will be something for everyone who loves horses. Watch as they compete on ability, skill, and form. The horse and rider will exhibit with grace and style as they work through courses with obstacles. Riders of varying skill levels will be competing.

Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo

August 4-9, 2025

The Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo, a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo hosted each year in Vinita, will feature all of the exciting rodeo events fans have come to expect. Grab a seat at this year's rodeo and enjoy the eight main events – barrel racing, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, steer roping, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. Created in 1935 in honor of the memory of Will Rogers, the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo has become one of the biggest and best rodeos in the region, attracting top cowboy champions from across the nation and offering thousands of dollars in prize money. Tickets to the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo are available in advance or at the gate. Do not miss the parade, hosted downtown on Wednesday, or the street dance, hosted every night of the event. Other festivities will include a calf scramble, the Old Settlers reunion, a stunning grand entry, hilarious performances by rodeo clowns and more. Make your way to Vinita for one of the most outstanding rodeos in the southwest United States and watch as world-champion cowboys compete for cash and prizes.

Conquer the Gauntlet

August 6, 2025 | 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Conquer the Gauntlet is a challenging four-mile obstacle course and adventure race that features over 30 obstacles. Held at 181 Ranch in Bixby, this event will bring you face-to-face with taxing obstacles like climbing over walls, crawling through mud, and slogging your way through water one to five feet deep. Conquer the Gauntlet will challenge you mentally and physically, but those who complete the event will be given a T-shirt and bragging rights.

National Snaffle Bit Association World Show

August 7-17, 2025 | 8 a.m.

The National Snaffle Bit Association brings together horses and riders from all over the country for its annual World Show at Tulsa Expo Square. This competition of pleasure horse events includes horsemanship, equitation over fences, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, hunter hack and more. Riders and horses from all different classes compete at this nearly week-long event. The NSBA will offer all-breed classes and payout in excess of $1,500,000 in cash and prizes. A trade show comprised of commercial exhibitors and pleasure horse professionals will be available to assist spectators during the week.

Collinsville Moonlight 5K & Fun Run

Night owls will appreciate the Collinsville Moonlight 5K & Fun Run in August. While most 5K events begin early in the morning, runners will meet at the end of the day for this special evening. Run through Collinsville's downtown area to explore the town just a few short hours before nightfall.

Blazing Saddles 2025 Poker Bike Ride for Suicide Prevention, Hope and Awareness 2025

August 9, 2025 | 7:15 a.m.

Are you ready to sweat your saddle off in the most exciting recreational cycling event Green Country has to offer? Big Wheel Events, Inc. presents a unique poker run ride for 2025. Although the Blazing Saddles ride earns its name for being held during the hottest part of Oklahoma’s summer, the hottest part of this year’s ride is certain to be your hand! Held at your hometown bike shop, Bixby Bicycles, riders will depart from The Bridge Church at 7:30 a.m. to enjoy a tour of Northeast Oklahoma’s beautiful backcountry. With an early start, we hope to avoid seeing any flames, unless they’re coming from the speed of your saddle! For convenience, riders will be dealt their five-card poker hand AFTER crossing the finish line. Rest stops will be stationed approximately every 15 - 20 miles and will provide snacks, beverages, and sag support. Poker hands will be dealt by professionally trained dealers, courtesy of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Cards will be specially marked and stamped with the participant’s bib number. There will be one Grand Prize winner from each category (distance). Grand Prize winners will receive vouchers for a one-night stay for two at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The top ten hands from each category will also receive prizes.

Oklahoma Buckskin Horse Show

August 16-17, 2025 | 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Oklahoma Buckskin Horse Association horse show is coming to the Claremore Expo August16th & 17th Classes are open to all breeds. Show starts at 8 am each day. It is a fun, family environment for all horse lovers to show their horses with the challenge of competition. OBHA offers a full show bill of All Breed classes for horses of any color to join us! They offer youth, walk trot, loping and ranch classes in the ALL-BREED classes. The OBHA have several ALL-BREED divisions to win high point awards in! The largest classes over the past several years have been the All-Breed classes! Their overall goal is to create a fun, family environment for all horse lovers to show their horses and provide the challenge of horse show competition. The Oklahoma Buckskin Horse Association (OBHA) was formed & incorporated in 1981. The purpose of the club is to make the public aware of and to encourage interest in Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun and Grulla horses through horse show competition.

ScotFest

September 19-21, 2025

ScotFest is Oklahoma's flagship celebration of Celtic history and heritage. Held in Broken Arrow's Chisholm Trail Park, this weekend-long festival has something for the entire family including food, crafts, and excellent live music. Don't miss the Scottish Highland Games, featuring over 160 athletes competing in the caber toss, Braemar stone, hammer throw, sheaf tossing and more. Come to ScotFest for genealogy and family (clan) history, musical entertainers of local and national merit, Scottish and Irish dance demonstrations, solo piping, traditional drumming, and pipe band competitions. ScotFest will also feature vendors of Scottish crafts and products, demonstrations of Scottish traditional domestic skills and continuing educational sessions and workshops throughout the festival. Come to ScotFest in Broken Arrow for wine and whiskey tastings, and bring the kids for a variety of children's activities including sack races, three-legged races, and a Scottish ring fling.

Route 66 Cruisers Cruise-In & Car Show

September 26-27, 2025

Bring the entire family out to the annual Route 66 Cruisers Cruise-In & Car Show in Claremore to celebrate classic cars along the Mother Road. The cruise-in begins at 4pm on Friday at Ne-Mar Center. Cruise down historic Route 66 to Foyil's Totem Pole Park at 6pm to enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs before returning to the Ne-Mar Center to watch an exhilarating flame throwing contest at dusk. On Saturday, head to Claremore Lake to admire vintage, modified and antique cars, as well as motorcycles. Over 50 classes will be represented at the show, and three trophies will be awarded per class. Browse vendor booths to find one-of-a-kind arts and crafts, then stop by a food vendor to pick up a snack. The Route 66 Cruisers Cruise-In & Car Show is an event for all ages that you won't want to miss. Hours: Friday: 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm; Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
