Rhema Christmas Lights
January 1, 2026 | 5:30 - 11:30 p.m.
Join thousands of annual visitors at the Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. These much-loved lights display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car, and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Do not miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes, and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Garden of Lights
January 1, 2026
Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights. Ringing In at Redbud

Celebrate the coming of the new year with Ringing In At Redbud in Owasso. This New Year's Eve bash will feature a dazzling evening of fun in Redbud Festival Park. Live entertainment will include performances by country-pop star Gracee Shriver as well as the Dueling Pianos by Tom Basler Music. Cabin Boys Brewery will host a beer tent where you can sip refreshing brews. BROKEN ARROW—Make your Christmas season bright this year with a visit to Rhema Bible Church! Beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, the campus will transform into a cheery winter wonderland, featuring our brand-new Rhema Express train rides, a Rhema Lights merchandise hut, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a dazzling display of Christmas lights. The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. through January 1. Drawing nearly half a million visitors annually, the Rhema Christmas Lights display is a beloved, must-see holiday tradition. Beautiful, bright energy-efficient LED lights create a feast for the eyes throughout the 110-acre Rhema campus located at 1025 West Kenosha in Broken Arrow. As you walk through the park and around the grounds, you’ll discover whimsical scenes including a gingerbread family surrounded by lollipops and gumdrops, a dramatic and moving 50-figure nativity scene, and a lovely synchronized musical display of trees and dancing snowflakes. Concessions and Rhema Express train rides open at 6 p.m. on November 26, then at 5:30 p.m. each following night through January 1. Walk-up concessions are available in the park. Tulsa Shootout

Tulsa Holiday Winter Circuit

The Tulsa Holiday Winter Circuit is held at the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex at Expo Square in Tulsa. This AQHA-approved horse show features a full slate of Western and English events as well as roping and working cowhorse. Also included are the Versatility Ranch Horse classes that showcase the talents of a working ranch horse. Claremore Lake Lights
January 1-6, 2026
Claremore Lake lights will return for the second year! Starting on November 26th, residents and visitors can drive through the Claremore Lake Park and experience the Christmas lights and displays from the comfort of their warm vehicle. Lights will begin each night at dusk and remain on until 10 p.m. through Jan. 6, 2026. The Claremore Lake lights will begin at the Blue Starr Road entrance and displays will be featured throughout the park. Multiple photo opportunities will be available, and visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #ClaremoreLakeLights on social media to capture and share memories. There is no cost to enjoy the Claremore Lake light display. Before you head out to the Claremore Lake be sure to check out one of our local eateries!

Preserving the Voices of American Folk Music: A Conversation with Michael Scully

Join us at the Woody Guthrie Center on Jan. 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. for a special conversation between author and historian Michael Scully and Senior Director Cady Shaw as they explore how Scully’s remarkable archive reflects and strengthens the center’s mission to preserve and share the voices that shape American folk traditions. Scully, who generously donated his research papers and interview recordings used for his book, “The Never-Ending Revival: Rounder Records and the Folk Alliance,” to the center in 2018, will discuss the stories behind his work and why the Woody Guthrie Center felt like the truest home for his materials. As part of a recent grant-funded preservation project, Scully’s archival interview recordings will soon be available to researchers and the public. This event promises an inspiring look at the enduring legacy of folk music and the importance of preserving its history.

The New Year race is scheduled for January 10, 2026 at Kelly Lane Park in Sapulpa, Oklahoma (1151 S Park St, 74066). The event offers three distance options: 5K, 10K, and half marathon. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. The entry price increases on the Monday before the event. The meeting point is the pavilion next to the playground.

Western Hills Winter Bluegrass Festival
January 15-17, 2026
Come out and enjoy gospel and traditional bluegrass music during the Western Hills Winter Bluegrass Festival. Held over three days in January, this bluegrass festival is a fast-moving display of musical talent with a handful of bands showcasing their skills on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. The Western Hills Winter Bluegrass Festival, held on the grounds of the beautiful Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, will feature top bands from the region. Bring your favorite instrument and participate in jam sessions held in the hotel lobby. A variety of musical workshops will also be held throughout the festival, so get your ticket or a three-day pass and brush up on your bluegrass skills. Workshops will be held on instruments such as the five-string banjo, flattop guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro, and bass.

Mad Dog Demolition Derby

Make your way to the Mad Dog Demolition Derby at the Claremore Expo Center for an evening of fun and car smashing. Come, see, and hear one of the loudest events in Claremore, full of crushed metal and smashed cars. Drivers will compete in figure eight, mower derby and Hornet car circle racing. All courses are along the paved River Parks Trail System in Tulsa and are very flat with the exception of one hill that is encountered once on the 25K course and twice on the 50K course. The 5K and 10K courses are very flat. There will be great finisher medals for all distances, a long-sleeved tech shirt and post-race food and beer.

James Bagwell, guest conductor Jana McIntyre, soprano Teresa Buchholz, mezzo-soprano Tulsa Chorale | Zachary Malavolti, Artistic Director Mahler | Symphony No.2 in C minor, “Resurrection" James Bagwell, an accomplished American conductor known for his work in choral, operatic, and orchestral music returns to Tulsa to close out our historic Season XX joined by the revered Tulsa Chorale. Mahler’s Symphony No.2 in C minor, “Resurrection" is a five-movement piece featuring the Tulsa Chorale and its impressive soloists. The piece features dramatic and intense character and mood ranges all culminating in a superb conclusion intentionally symbolizing hope and resurrection. This profound piece will only leave you inspired, only to anticipate Season XXI of your Tulsa Symphony Orchestra!
