Rhema Christmas Lights
January 1, 2025
Join thousands of visitors at the annual Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. This much-loved light display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Don't miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Garden of Lights
January 1, 2025
Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

Rhema Christmas Lights
January 1, 2025 | 5:30 - 11:30 p.m.
BROKEN ARROW—Get ready for the Christmas season at Rhema Bible Church! Starting at 6 p.m. on November 27, the campus will transform into a winter wonderland with horse-and-buggy rides, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a dazzling display of Christmas lights. The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. through January 1. Drawing nearly a half million visitors each year, the Rhema Christmas Lights display is a must-see holiday tradition. New and brighter energy-efficient LED lights decorate the 110-acre Rhema campus located at 1025 West Kenosha in Broken Arrow. Walking through the park and around the grounds, you’ll encounter whimsical scenes, including a gingerbread family surrounded by lollipops and gumdrops, a 50-figure nativity scene, and a synchronized musical display of trees and dancing snowflakes. Concessions and horse-and-buggy rides open at 6 p.m. on November 27 and then at 5:30 p.m. each night through January 1. Walk-up concessions are available in the park. First Day Hike at Keystone State Park
January 1, 2025
Mark your calendar for a visit to Keystone State Park on January 1 for a free guided hike. The first hike will take place first thing on New Year's Day at midnight. The second hike will take place at 10am. Meet at the park office and bring your leashed pets, binoculars, a camera, water and appropriate dress for a cool-weather hike. The event is held in conjunction with the America's State Parks First Day Hikes initiative that will take place in all 50 states. First Day Hikes offer individuals and families the opportunity to begin the New Year connecting with the outdoors and staying active.

Glow on the Green
January 1-2, 2025 | 6 - 10 p.m.
This festive event features thousands of lights and holiday festivities for all ages. On December 3, kick off the season during Lights On, hosted by News on 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer. The evening also includes live entertainment, free photos with Santa and a holiday market featuring more than 30 local vendors. The Glow on the Green holiday lights will be on every night through January 2.

Claremore Lake Lights
January 1-4, 2025
Claremore Lake lights will return for the second year! Starting on November 20th, residents and visitors can drive through the Claremore Lake Park and experience the Christmas lights and displays from the comfort of their warm vehicle. Lights will begin each night at dusk and remain on until 10 p.m. through Jan. 4, 2025. The Claremore Lake lights will begin at the Blue Starr Road entrance and displays will be featured throughout the park. Multiple photo opportunities will be available, and visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #ClaremoreLakeLights on social media to capture and share memories. There is no cost to enjoy the Claremore Lake light display. Before you head out to the Claremore Lake be sure to check out one of our local eateries! Hours: Dusk until 10:00p.m.

Winterfest
January 1-6, 2025
Downtown Tulsa is transformed into a festive wonderland during Winterfest, an annual holiday tradition. Bring friends and family together for holiday festivities and share the joyful spirit of the season. Experience the thrill of outdoor ice skating, see one of Oklahoma's tallest outdoor Christmas trees, take a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, listen to live entertainment, and browse beautiful holiday light displays. Surrounded by festive nutcrackers, twinkling lights and a 44-foot tree decked out with 35,700 lights, the outdoor ice rink is located adjacent to the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. Head to Third & Denver to enjoy carriage rides that will take you throughout the Winterfest area. Children and adults alike will also be treated to surprise visits from Segway Santa as he wheels his way around the main plaza at the BOK Center passing out candy canes and posing for pictures. Winterfest visitors will also be treated to concessions with all your holiday favorites and a holiday market with unique Made-in-Oklahoma gifts.

Tulsa Martin Luther King Jr. Parade
January 20, 2025 | 11 a.m.
Head to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade through Tulsa to honor a legend and celebrate freedom with the community. This event grows every year and now includes hundreds of people with impressive displays of music and floats. The parade is organized by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Society of Tulsa, which has been organizing ways to honor Dr. King since they formed in 1979.

Spring Break at Will Rogers Memorial Museum & Birthplace Ranch
March 17-21, 2025
Children ages 17 and younger are invited to enjoy five afternoons of free spring break activities at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore. Monday through Friday, kids will enjoy a variety of Will Rogers-themed adventures that will be fun as well as educational. Kids will participate in historical demonstrations such as blacksmithing and quilting and participate in Aviation Day which will include flight simulation and a paper airplane contest. Later in the week, spring breakers can come to the camp dressed as their favorite movie character and enjoy a showing of "Night at the Museum" as they snack on popcorn. On Friday, campers will have a chance to showcase their own star qualities at the Mid-Afternoon Frolic Talent Show. Keep the kids entertained with this free, week-long event near Tulsa. Advanced registration is not required.

Monday, May 26, 2025 at 5:00 PM The Retiring of the Colors Members of the Indian Nations Council of the Boy Scouts of America will retire the Garrison Flag and the other Flags surrounding the Veterans Field of Honor with their own special ceremonies. Dress up in your favorite costume and join us Thursday evenings in October for the BOOtanical Experience in the Driskill Children’s Discovery Garden! The Garden will be transformed into a glowing, magical space where families can wander lighted pathways, visit BOOtanical booths that mix fun with learning—including hands-on games and activities about monarch butterflies and other cool insects (yes, even Maggot Painting!)—plus meet costumed characters and collect plenty of treats along the way. Every child participating needs a BOOtanical add-on ticket, in addition to regular admission. Pleasant Valley Farms Winter Squash & Pumpkin Festival

Pleasant Valley Farms Pumpkin Patch in Sand Springs grows one of the largest variety of pumpkins and winter squash in Oklahoma. With over 90 varieties from 13 countries, the farm also provides information on each variety's use, including baking, pies, jams or decoration. Nearly two dozen vendors and craftsmen will be on-site with an array of items to purchase at the festival. Browse through handmade soaps, tasty jellies and much more, or pick a traditional orange pumpkin to take home. Craftsmen will also demonstrate their skills for crowds, including chainsaw wood carving. The Just Treats No Tricks tradition continues Monday, October 31 as the City of Collinsville presents Hocus Pocus in the Plaza! We'll start at the City Plaza at 6:00 PM (be sure and get there early as this is always a very big event) the costume parade will take place with trick-or-treaters parading down Main Street for everyone to see their costumes. Trick-or-treaters will then trick or treat their way back to the City Plaza. Downtown Merchants will be handing out candy. There will be FREE hot dogs grilled in the Plaza by the Motorcycle Ministry. There will also be food trucks on hand. The annual costume contests will take place back at the Plaza beginning at 7:00 PM. The Hex House

Will Rogers Days, Indigenous Heritage Day and National Native American Heritage Month begins the first Saturday of November. The Indian Women’s Pocahontas Club has been celebrating Will’s birthday since the Will Rogers Memorial Museum was opened in 1938. The Ceremony will begin at the Rotunda with Club members dressed in their Cherokee Tear dresses and red Pocahontas Club shawls around the bronze statue of Will Rogers, as they recite their Club Collect and place a basket of fall foliage at the foot of the statue. The Club members will proceed to the Tomb for the Wreath Laying Ceremony, led by the Cherokee Nation Veteran Color Guard. There will be a program in the Will Rogers Theater following the Wreath Laying Ceremony with guest speakers Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin, Jr., Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilman for District 14, Kevin Easley, Jr., and special entertainment by Jana Jae “Queen of Fiddle”, member of the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and the National Fiddler Hall of Fame. In addition, there will be a “Hat Contest” at the close of the program, in honor of Will’s wife, Betty Blake Rogers. Everyone is welcome to participate. Following the entertainment will be Will’s favorite lunch, navy beans, cornbread, and pie. Join us at the Will Rogers Day Parade at 3:00 p.m. and later at the Birthday Party at the Will Rogers Memorial. The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. through January 1. Drawing nearly half a million visitors annually, the Rhema Christmas Lights display is a beloved, must-see holiday tradition. Beautiful, bright energy-efficient LED lights create a feast for the eyes throughout the 110-acre Rhema campus located at 1025 West Kenosha in Broken Arrow. As you walk through the park and around the grounds, you’ll discover whimsical scenes including a gingerbread family surrounded by lollipops and gumdrops, a dramatic and moving 50-figure nativity scene, and a lovely synchronized musical display of trees and dancing snowflakes. Visit a magical garden aglow with festive lights during the Garden of Lights at the Tulsa Botanic Garden this November and December. Add your wish to the Wishing Tree, take photos at the holiday selfie photo booth, grab a warm drink from the holiday bar and roast marshmallows over fire pits to make s'mores. Castle Christmas

Experience one of the world's largest collections of holiday inflatables and Christmas lights during Castle Christmas hosted at the Castle of Muskogee. Grab a bag of kettle corn from Rudolph's Cafe before you head inside to drive through Castleton Village's winter wonderland. Awe at over 2,000 displays and thousands of twinkling lights ranging from four to 20 feet in height. Bring the whole family and hop on an old-fashioned, tractor-drawn hayride or chug along on the Christmas Train for a unique experience through the festive displays. Castle Christmas will also feature camel and pony rides for the kids and a special visit from Santa and Rudolph. Visit the holiday gift shop and create a festive ornament with Santa's elves or enjoy a free holiday movie shown at the castle. After enjoying several on-site activities, stop by Rudolph's Cafe for hot chocolate and other holiday treats. This event is free; however, donations are much appreciated. Don't miss this opportunity to revel in a breathtaking, old-fashioned Christmas celebration in Muskogee.

Rhema Christmas Lights

Join thousands of annual visitors at the Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. These much-loved lights display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car, and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Do not miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes, and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

BROKEN ARROW—Make your Christmas season bright this year with a visit to Rhema Bible Church! Beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, the campus will transform into a cheery winter wonderland, featuring our brand-new Rhema Express train rides, a Rhema Lights merchandise hut, hot chocolate, popcorn, and a dazzling display of Christmas lights. The event runs nightly from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. through January 1. Drawing nearly half a million visitors annually, the Rhema Christmas Lights display is a beloved, must-see holiday tradition. Beautiful, bright energy-efficient LED lights create a feast for the eyes throughout the 110-acre Rhema campus located at 1025 West Kenosha in Broken Arrow. As you walk through the park and around the grounds, you’ll discover whimsical scenes including a gingerbread family surrounded by lollipops and gumdrops, a dramatic and moving 50-figure nativity scene, and a lovely synchronized musical display of trees and dancing snowflakes. Concessions and Rhema Express train rides open at 6 p.m. on November 26, then at 5:30 p.m. each following night through January 1. Walk-up concessions are available in the park. Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.
