Lemon-Aid Celebration

Twenty-five years ago, Tulsa kids gave back through a simple childhood tradition: lemonade stands. Attend the same old-fashioned tradition at the Lemon-Aid 25th Anniversary Celebration, featuring a wealth of lemonade stands to sample. Anchored at Guthrie Green in Tulsa, Lemon-Aid will offer a variety of lemonade recipes and variations, as well as several food trucks, hometown bands, contests and more.

Bluegrass & Chili Festival

September 5-6, 2025

Wander through the festival grounds at the 45th annual Bluegrass & Chili Festival and enjoy an open car show, a children's area and a festival marketplace filled to the brim with arts, crafts, and handmade goods for sale. Stick around for a, junior showcase featuring youth talent, dance exhibitions and an antique tractor show, open car show and more! With a wide variety of things to do and plenty of yummy chili to go around, the Bluegrass & Chili Festival guarantees a great weekend filled with family fun. Join over 20,000 visitors at this annual event and sample chili from cooking teams during the Mid-America Regional Chili Cook-Off. Whether your taste buds crave spicy, mild or something in-between, this chili cook-off is guaranteed to satisfy any appetite. Bring your lawn chairs, pick up a cool drink and enjoy three stages of local, regional, and national performance artists. Musicians will entertain the crowds with a wide variety of bluegrass, country, and good, old-fashioned gospel tunes, so show up early for a good seat. All concerts at the Bluegrass & Chili Festival are free. Hours: Friday: 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm; Saturday: 11:00 am - 11:00 pm.

Founded in 2003, the Rose District Farmer's Market, 418 S. Main St., is in the heart of Broken Arrow's award-winning Rose District. Its proximity to area shops and restaurants allows customers to experience all the Rose District offers. The market initially started with only 10 vegetable vendors. Over the years, it has grown to a two-day market with more than 50 unique vendors offering locally grown and hand-crafted products. There is also a mid-week market, every Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Tulsa State Fair

September 25-30, 2025

Bring the whole family out for Tulsa's largest annual event, the Tulsa State Fair, and enjoy fun-filled, family entertainment at its best. One of Oklahoma's premier events, the Tulsa State Fair entertains festival-goers with a large array of carnival rides, midway games, attractions, free concerts, creative art displays and much more. This fair attracts over one million visitors each year and thousands of visitors each day. Join the crowds and experience thrilling rides and breathtaking attractions at the Tulsa State Fair, held at Tulsa Expo Square. Held since 1935, the Tulsa State Fair has blossomed into an entertainment bonanza with free concerts daily across three stages, grounds entertainment, exhibitions and stage shows. Come to the Tulsa State Fair to enjoy national headlining entertainment as well as exhibit buildings filled to the brim with attractions and educational displays. Grab a corndog or a funnel cake and peruse a variety of agricultural exhibits, numerous kitchen demonstrations, and vendor booths galore. The Tulsa State Fair will also play host to area horticultural and baked goods exhibits, as well as livestock and horse shows and the Junior Livestock Auction. Bring the kids and purchase tickets to this year's Disney on Ice. Watch their eyes light up in wonder as they see Disney characters glide across the ice during a magical performance featuring classic and contemporary Disney songs. Also, the PRCA Rodeo will return to this year's fair to the delight of rodeo fans everywhere. Attend the rodeo and watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete in action-packed events, such as barrel racing, team roping, bull riding and more. Stick around after the event for a concert and live entertainment. Kids will be entertained with a trip through the fair's petting zoo, activity centers and creative stations. The Tulsa State Fair will also host a variety of daily contests for the little ones. Also, don't forget to take a ride on the fair's most thrilling carnival rides.

World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off

September 27, 2025 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

A Vinita tradition since 1979, the World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off features live music, vendors, and cowboy games. Celebrate Vinita's rich ranching history by tasting the festival's namesake and local delicacy—calf fries. Visitors who wish to taste the calf fries (also referred to as Rocky Mountain oysters) can purchase tickets to enter the cooking area. Vote for your favorite team in the People's Choice competition and sample other treats including beans, cobblers, salsa, and breads made by the various cook-off teams. Celebrity judges will determine the overall winners. The World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off serves up an average of 2,000 pounds of calf fries and welcomes about 1,500 attendees each year.
