Boats, Beats & BBQ
September 1, 2023
Come to Grand Lake and experience the most unique music festival in the country. Boats, Beats & BBQ offers three days of powerboat races, incredible music and mouthwatering barbecue. Held over Labor Day weekend, this fun event is accessible via boat or land at Wolf Creek Park in Grove on Grand Lake. Kick things off on Friday with a food truck festival downtown, as well as a Formula 1 Powerboat lineup and meet and greet. The poker run also begins on Friday and runs through Sunday. On both Saturday and Sunday, there will be boat races, a Kansas City BBQ Society official tasting competition and live music on the water. The stage is visible from the lake shore, but visitors are welcome to bring a raft and jump in for the full water festival experience.

Bluegrass & Chili Festival
September 8-9, 2023
The annual Bluegrass & Chili Festival in Wagoner is cooking up plenty of family fun in the month of September. Join over 30,000 visitors at this annual event and sample chili from cooking teams during the Mid-America Regional Chili Cook-Off. Whether your taste buds crave spicy, mild or something in-between, this chili cook-off is guaranteed to satisfy any appetite. Bring your lawn chairs, pick up a cool drink from a festival vendor and enjoy three stages of local, regional and national performance artists. Musicians will entertain the crowds with a wide variety of bluegrass, country and good, old-fashioned gospel tunes, so show up early for a good seat. All concerts at the Bluegrass & Chili Festival are free. Wander through the festival grounds at the Bluegrass & Chili Festival and enjoy an open car show, a children's area and a festival marketplace filled to the brim with arts, crafts and handmade goods for sale. Stick around for a vocal competition, junior showcase, dance exhibitions and an antique tractor pull. With a wide variety of things to do and plenty of yummy chili to go around, the Bluegrass & Chili Festival guarantees a great weekend filled with family fun.

McNellie’s Harvest Beer Festival

Head to downtown Tulsa for a celebration of craft beer at the McNellie's Harvest Beer Festival. More than 20 different breweries will be on hand to present some of the best beer around, with many Oklahoma breweries represented. Battered Boar, Big Sky, CHOC, Flying Dog, Mustang, Rogue and Sierra Nevada are some of the great breweries that will take part in this event. Los Festivales y Mercados: Dia de la Independencia
September 16, 2023 | 3 - 8 p.m.
Kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month in Tulsa at the Los Festivales y Mercados: Dia de la Independencia. Authentic Latin American products will be available for purchase in the Mercado shopping area. While you explore the festival, you can see a series of live dance performances that showcase the culture of several Latin American countries. When you get hungry, choose from a large selection of delicious and unique dishes from a collection of several food trucks and enjoy activities like the loteria. The evening wraps up the with two-hours of dancing at Cumbia Night.

Tulsa Greek Festival
September 21-23, 2023
Tulsa’s favorite Greek Festival is back. Bring the entire family to enjoy Greek music, Greek dancing and, of course, Greek food and drinks. This fun-filled weekend will be full of incredible food and entertainment at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Please note, service animals are welcome, but pets are not allowed.

Skiatook Pioneer Day Festival
September 21-23, 2023
Head to the Pioneer Day Festival in Skiatook for a great day of family fun. The free festival events kick off Saturday morning with "Runnin' the Rails" certified 5K, followed by the Pioneer Day Parade. Immediately after the parade, gather in Central Park to enjoy carnival rides, exhibits, arts and crafts, friendly competitions and more. Other festivities include a classic car show, museum tours, a quilt show, fishing derby and a concert to wrap up each night of the festival. Come celebrate Skiatook's past, present and future at the Pioneer Day Festival.
