Boats Beats & BBQ
September 2-3, 2023 | 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
MidAmerica Outdoors and the City of Grove are proud to announce the first annual Boats Beats & BBQ fundraising event, set to take place on Labor Day weekend, September 2nd and 3rd. The event will feature Formula 1 Powerboat Championship racing, high-energy music performances, and a BBQ cook-off, all in support of local charities. Boats Beats & BBQ promises to be a thrilling event, with Formula 1 Powerboat racing providing high-speed entertainment as drivers race at over 100 mph and make 180-degree turns while pulling up to 7Gs. In addition, attendees can enjoy live music from Bret Michaels, the LACS, Don Felder, and other regional and local artists which attendees can experience on the shores of the lake, in the water, or from their boats. The event also features a BBQ cook-off, with the Kansas City BBQ Society competing for $20,000.00 in prizes, including a people’s choice award. The event will be held right on Grand Lake at Wolff Creek Park in Grove, OK, and tickets are available both online and at the gate. The cost for an adult to attend all weekend is $30 (child weekend pass $15), or a single day for $20 (child single day $10). Proceeds from Boats Beats & BBQ will support local charities in the Grove community and surrounding Northeast Oklahoma area. This event provides a unique opportunity to combine entertainment with charitable giving, and we encourage everyone to come out and support the causes while having a great time! Pink the Ville
September 30, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Don all of the pink gear you can muster up and Pink the Ville at Family Healthcare Clinic's Annual Miles for Mammograms 5K event. Starting and ending at Tower Center Unity Square in Bartlesville, competitors can choose from three ways to join the 5K fun: Timed Run, Fun Walk or Sleepin’ In. The top three finishers in each group will receive medals, and awards to runners will be presented by gender and age group, including youth, and overall male and female. Competitors will receive a T-shirt with their registration and the first 300 registrants will snag runner swag bags. One most "Pinked Out" individual and team will also take home special prizes. Don't miss out on this fun race for a good cause in Bartlesville.

St. Jude Walk/Run

Embark on a 5K run around the ONEOK Field in downtown Tulsa, or walk the route for a slower-paced bit of fitness fun. At the St. Jude Walk/Run, participants can run or walk the race with friends or compete solo. Whether walking for fun or aiming to beat personal times during the run, exercise in the heart of the Greenwood Historical District at the St. Jude Walk/Run.
