Picture in Scripture Amphitheater- Damascus Road

Located on the south end of Grand Lake just outside Disney, Oklahoma, Picture In Scripture Amphitheater has been bringing stories from the Bible to life for over 35 years. Best known for “The Man Who Ran”, the dramatic presentation of Jonah, Jesus and the great fish, the amphitheater has become one of Grand Lake's favorite tourist attractions. In addition to Jonah's story, the prophet Elijah was showcased in "The Elijah Factor" and more recently Paul's conversion on the "Damascus Road".

Meditation at the Museum Presented By: Philbrook Museum of Art

Head into the weekend restored with a sonic sound meditation led by AT EASE MEDITATION. Accompanied by the soothing harmonies of crystal signing bowls, Koshi chimes and a symphonic gong, this guided meditation welcomes participants of all experience levels. First Friday Art Crawl

Catoosa Art Show & Cultural Festival

Enjoy the art, history and culture of the Catoosa area during the annual Catoosa Art Show & Cultural Festival. Catoosa is a Cherokee name meaning 'Unto the hills' and is the gateway to the Cherokee Nation. The two-day celebration will feature artwork by internationally renowned Native artists and Saturday will be a day filled with festival fun - live music, food trucks, craft booths, local artisans and much more. Red Earth Parade & FallFest Powwow

July 15, 2022

A vibrant grand parade opens the annual Red Earth Parade & FallFest Powwow in downtown Oklahoma City. Witness representatives of more than 100 Native American tribes in full tribal regalia make this parade one of the nation's most colorful, unique events. The Red Earth Parade & FallFest Powwow will be held in conjunction with Oklahoma City's Indigenous People's Day celebrations. Parade participants include Tribal leaders and princesses, dancers, musical groups, marching bands, school groups, drum groups, mounted entries and more. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs to watch the display.

An Affair of the Heart

July 15-17, 2022

An Affair of the Heart is one of the largest arts and craft shows in the United States, with a vast variety of quality merchandise, and voted the No.1 contemporary craft shows in the U.S. by Sunshine Artist magazine's readership. Arts, crafts, antiques, collectibles, furniture, accessories, jewelry, clothing, gourmet foods and more will all be on display at nearly 850 vendor booths. Admission is $10, and children 12 and under have free admission. Hours on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 are 9:00a.m. - 6:00p.m.; Sunday, July 17 11:00a.m. - 5:00p.m.

Oklahoma City Summer Bead & Jewelry Show

KCBBC 2022 will be held at the Broken Arrow Performing Arts Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Two separate week-long sessions will be held, one during July 17th-23rd and the other July 24th-30th. Students who are selected, based on performance abilities, will be assigned to one of the sessions to attend as a 2022 KCBBC camper. Prepare the following materials before you fill out this application: • 1 Headshot PDF or JPG • 1 Page Resume PDF • Link to Musical Theater Song Audition (1 min max) • Link to video of a contrasting piece (1 min max) - this could be a monologue, song, dance, instrumental or another creative outlet where you shine! Incomplete applications will not be accepted. Camp will cost $600. This year, we will divide the camp into 2 sessions. Session 1: July 17th-23rd. Session 2: July 24th-30th. Students who are selected to the camp will be assigned to 1 of the 2 sessions (not both). Lodging will not be provided. A parent or guardian must chaperone the student during their time outside of the camp day while staying in Broken Arrow.

Tulsa Children’s Summer Theatre Presents Disney’s Frozen Jr. July 27-July 31st Tulsa Children’s Summer Theatre presents Disney’s Frozen Jr. at Tulsa Community College Van Trease Pace Mainstage July 27th-July 31st at 7pm and July 30-31st at 2pm. Disney’s Frozen Jr. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life onstage. The show features all the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Book by Jennifer Lee. The cast includes forty young actors ages 5-17 years of age with Audrey Armstrong playing the lead role, Elsa, and Sarah Mason, playing Anna. Mark Frank directs the production with Laura Cowan as the musical director and Jennifer Andrasko as the choreographer. Aaron Kennedy is the set designer. Costume and make-up design are being done by Emily Westerfield. Stephanie Stone is the lighting designer and production stage manager. Michelle Davis is the assistant stage manager. And Jon Kreilaus oversees the sound. Disney’s Frozen Jr. is a story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Disney’s Frozen Jr. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure and plenty of humor, Disney’s Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Kihekah Steh Powwow

The annual Kihekah Steh Powwow is an important Native American event that will occur northwest of town and will feature a wide variety of traditional dancing and lovely regalia. There will also be plenty of activities for the kids and handmade craft vendors on site. Free to the public.
