First Friday Art Crawl
October 2, 2026 | 6 - 9 p.m.
Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As a bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

9th Annual Steamroller Printmaking Art Festival

Claremore High School One Act Play Performance

CHS Drama Department Proudly Presents Yellow Wallpaper by Kathyrn Funkhouser, Directed by Joshua Gibson. This 45 minutes one act play features both realistic and expressionistic acting styles and examines the effects of isolation on a woman suffering post-partum depression in 1910 and her granddaughter who discovers her journal in 1950 and finds out her secrets. As the People in the Walls come alive, young Eleanor discovers that family secrets are not all they seem. Relationships are restored and trust is regained. This competition piece will be performed for the public at the Robson Performing Arts Center Main Stage on Oct. 6th at 7:30 pm. Tickets $5. Sold at door.

Art Crawl on 66

Experience art up close during the Art Crawl on 66 in Tulsa as artists bring imagination to life at local businesses. On the second Friday of the month from April to December, musicians, performers and visual artists will inspire patrons as they browse businesses and vendor booths. Kick the weekend off with a tour of historic places along The Mother Road, enjoying local restaurants and taking in the sights and sounds of Tulsa's art scene.

Cherokee Art Market

This October, be sure to attend the Cherokee Art Market at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa. The 21st annual Cherokee Art Market features nearly 170 Native American artists representing nearly 50 tribal Nations. Participating artists compete for their share of more than $75,000 across nearly 30 categories, as well as special recognition such as Best of Show, Innovator Award, Culture Keeper and more. Throughout the weekend, guests can meet directly with each juried artist and learn more about their work and see cultural demonstrations and presentations. Guests can expect to see artwork on display and for sale ranging from pottery, basketry, textiles, paintings, sculptures and more.

Rock Swap & Open House
October 17, 2026 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Plan a visit to the D.W. Correll Museum for the Rock Swap & Open House and land yourself free admission to this Catoosa museum. Multitask during this special event and browse both the museum collections and goods from the on-site vendors. Guests can tour through the transportation museum, housing antique automobiles, before focusing in on the rocks, minerals, fossils and jewelry for sale. Plus, there will be a live auction at 11am with proceeds going towards the Tulsa Rock & Mineral Society’s scholarship fund. Collectors and enthusiasts can also partake in rock cutting, polishing, jewelry making and flint knapping demonstrations. Kids can also participate in educational activities while their chaperones get their personal rocks and gemstones identified by the experts. Head to the D.W. Correll Museum for an afternoon filled with educational fun and leave with a rock or mineral to commemorate this special day.

4th Annual Evergreen Youth Arts Festival Brings Youth, Art, Music and Route 66 Culture to Tulsa Tulsa, Oklahoma — October 31, 2026 — Underground Tree Arts Foundation is proud to present the 4th Annual Evergreen Youth Arts Festival, a free, family-centered celebration designed to give young people a space to create, perform, exhibit, connect and belong. The festival will take place Saturday, October 31, from 12–6 p.m. at Lacy Park, 2134 N. Madison Place, Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing together youth artists, families, performers, community members and supporters for an afternoon inspired by the legacy of Route 66. The Evergreen Youth Arts Festival is built around a simple mission: uplift youth and the community through the arts. The event creates a welcoming environment where young people can express themselves, build confidence, share their creativity and connect with their community. Festival activities will include: Youth live performances and music Youth art exhibitions and opportunities to sell original work Route 66-themed arts and creative activities Horse rides Bucking bull rides for youth and adults Face painting Painting Bouncy houses Games and prizes Prize giveaways Family-friendly activities and entertainment Young artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work, with proceeds from their sales going directly to the artists. The festival is intended not only to showcase young talent, but also to help young people recognize the value of their creativity and their ability to contribute to their community. “Creating space for youth to grow, express and belong” is at the heart of the Evergreen Youth Arts Festival. Underground Tree Arts Foundation believes that art can provide young people with meaningful ways to use their imagination, express their ideas and build positive connections with others. Now in its fourth year, the festival continues Underground Tree’s commitment to bringing art, creativity and opportunity into Tulsa communities.
