The annual Tallgrass Music Festival in Skiatook is a fun-filled family event that features top-notch bluegrass music. Join hundreds of visitors that descend upon the Tallgrass Music Festival, previously known as the Skiatook Bluegrass Festival. Festival-goers are encouraged to stay and camp while listening to the lively sounds of traditional bluegrass. Talented bluegrass artists will take the main stage Friday and Saturday to entertain crowds with original tunes, fiddle competitions and more. Multiple food and craft vendors will be set up, so make your way to the Tallgrass Music Festival and plan to stay awhile. The grounds include shaded seating, as well as water and electric hookups. Children's activities will also be available, so bring the whole family and prepare to be entertained. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great band lineup at annual Skiatook festival.

The Tulsa State Fair is the City’s largest family event, providing educational experiences and entertainment during an 11-day span. Annually held on the fourth Thursday after Labor Day, this historical event is based upon heritage, family values, and quality entertainment for all ages. It was first organized in 1903 as the “Tulsa County Free Fair” and developed into the Tulsa State Fair of today. With the goal of providing an educational and entertaining experience to the community, it has over 100 years of history and continues to stand out as one of the premier fairs in the country, with an estimated attendance of 1 million in 2025.

Usher in the fall season with a family-friendly trip to The Patch in Glenpool. Open each October in Glenpool, The Patch offers fun for all ages, including adults. From the hamster wheel and trike races to thrills on the mountain and mini slides, there's something for everyone in the family. Little ones can play safely in the Toddler Zone, while older visitors may enjoy the jumbo jumping pad, play a game of mega chess, compete in the water duck races and more. Admission includes unlimited day-use of all on-site activities. Stop by the petting zoo area to enjoy some hands-on play with adorable animals, then test your skills in the one-acre corn maze. A trip to The Patch at Sand Springs is a family-friendly way to celebrate the season with something for everyone. Open through the month of October in the Tulsa suburb of Sand Springs, there are several cute photo ops set up around the farm where you can take family photos that will be remembered as precious memories. Come to pick out a pumpkin and hang around to experience all of the other great activities. Kids love the games tent, petting zoo and designated toddler zone. With the Kids Activity Pass, children can enjoy unlimited fun on four giant inflatables in addition to water duck races and a kid-size hay maze. Beginning April 4th-October 31st, every Saturday from 8AM-noon. The mid-week market is every Tuesday, April 7th-October 27th, from 4-8PM. We also have a Holiday market on Tuesdays in November-December 22nd, 4-8PM. We are open rain or shine and only close for extreme or dangerous weather conditions. The market initially started with only 10 vegetable vendors. Over the years, it has grown to a two-day market with more than 50 unique vendors offering locally grown and hand-crafted products. The market's location is ideal due to the two large, covered pavilions with a state-of-the-art water feature in front of the plaza. Live music and a number of special events highlight the market, including cooking and gardening demonstrations, live radio broadcasts, a petting zoo, a kid's craft corner, and more.
