Tallgrass Music Festival
October 1-3, 2026
The annual Tallgrass Music Festival in Skiatook is a fun-filled family event that features top-notch bluegrass music. Join hundreds of visitors that descend upon the Tallgrass Music Festival, previously known as the Skiatook Bluegrass Festival. Festival-goers are encouraged to stay and camp while listening to the lively sounds of traditional bluegrass. Talented bluegrass artists will take the main stage Friday and Saturday to entertain crowds with original tunes, fiddle competitions and more. Multiple food and craft vendors will be set up, so make your way to the Tallgrass Music Festival and plan to stay awhile. The grounds include shaded seating, as well as water and electric hookups. Children's activities will also be available, so bring the whole family and prepare to be entertained. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a great band lineup at annual Skiatook festival.

Tulsa State Fair

The Tulsa State Fair is the City’s largest family event, providing educational experiences and entertainment during an 11-day span. Annually held on the fourth Thursday after Labor Day, this historical event is based upon heritage, family values, and quality entertainment for all ages. It was first organized in 1903 as the “Tulsa County Free Fair” and developed into the Tulsa State Fair of today. With the goal of providing an educational and entertaining experience to the community, it has over 100 years of history and continues to stand out as one of the premier fairs in the country, with an estimated attendance of 1 million in 2025.

The Patch at Glenpool

Usher in the fall season with a family-friendly trip to The Patch in Glenpool. Open each October in Glenpool, The Patch offers fun for all ages, including adults. From the hamster wheel and trike races to thrills on the mountain and mini slides, there's something for everyone in the family. Little ones can play safely in the Toddler Zone, while older visitors may enjoy the jumbo jumping pad, play a game of mega chess, compete in the water duck races and more. Admission includes unlimited day-use of all on-site activities. Stop by the petting zoo area to enjoy some hands-on play with adorable animals, then test your skills in the one-acre corn maze. Pony rides are also available on weekends for an additional cost. Be sure to bring your camera for several cute photo ops set up around the farm. Make memories and take family photos throughout the day as you pick out pumpkins and experience all of the other great activities at The Patch in Glenpool. The Patch at Sand Springs

A trip to The Patch at Sand Springs is a family-friendly way to celebrate the season with something for everyone. Open through the month of October in the Tulsa suburb of Sand Springs, there are several cute photo ops set up around the farm where you can take family photos that will be remembered as precious memories. Come to pick out a pumpkin and hang around to experience all of the other great activities. Kids love the games tent, petting zoo and designated toddler zone. With the Kids Activity Pass, children can enjoy unlimited fun on four giant inflatables in addition to water duck races and a kid-size hay maze. Pony rides are also available on weekends for an additional cost. Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross
October 1-31, 2026 | 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Celebrate fall at the annual Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross. Enjoy a peaceful day filled with family-friendly fun at an authentic working sheep farm in Claremore. You'll find more than 60 free activities such as a pumpkin patch, hay maze and game area. You can also pet sweet farm animals like sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas. Look around the farm for the QR code scavenger hunt and watch short videos about farming and shepherding.Tractor-pulled wagon rides are available for a fee and loads of pumpkins will be available for purchase. Bundle your fall fun with a Pumpkin Package that includes a pumpkin, wagon ride and a take-home craft. Browse the Farm Store housed within an old Amish barn to shop for handmade decor, gifts and wares from more than 80 vendors. Pick up some local honey, meat, eggs, produce, baked goods, candy and snacks.

Haunted Castle Halloween Festival

The Castle of Muskogee is Oklahoma's largest haunted attraction with over 62 acres of spine chilling thrills and excitement. Come celebrate more than 20 years of thrills with a combination of indoor and outdoor attractions with activities, vendors, games, shows, rides, shops, food and fun for all ages. There are multiple spooktacular events to test your nerves in the scariest and rated one of the best haunted attractions in the state. Whether looking for a scary, haunted house experience or a family-friendly excursion through a Halloween-themed fantasy land, the Haunted Castle Halloween Festival will both terrify and delight you this season. Psycho Path Haunted Attraction

Travel to Sperry for the Psycho Path Haunted Attraction and prepare to be terrified. Enter woods shrouded by fog and venture deep into the darkness where ghoulish creatures are waiting behind every twist and turn. Psycho Path offers visitors Hollywood-caliber scenes and over 40 acres of wooded terror. This haunted house attraction features high-intensity scares in an outdoor haunted experience. Take a 20-minute journey through the woods as you pass scenes filled with custom props, buildings and creatures that will spring when you least suspect it. Psycho Path expertly incorporates elements of a theme park ride as visitors ride from scene to scene in a custom vehicle called the scareage. Take the signature Psycho Path Dark Ride and travel into a haunted forest on a dark and mysterious path for nearly a mile where there's no turning back. All visitors that brave the Psycho Path are in for a thrilling haunted adventure with stunning audio and visual effects. Put your courage to the test as you and your friends encounter ghostly creatures that roam the woods outside of Sperry. Next, take a walk through the on-site haunted house and participate in the additional attractions that are sure to leave your spine tingling. When terror works up an appetite, concessions will be available to all visitors of Psycho Path. Menu items will include hot and cold beverages, burgers, nachos, chips, caramel apples and more. Beginning April 4th-October 31st, every Saturday from 8AM-noon. The mid-week market is every Tuesday, April 7th-October 27th, from 4-8PM. We also have a Holiday market on Tuesdays in November-December 22nd, 4-8PM. We are open rain or shine and only close for extreme or dangerous weather conditions. The market initially started with only 10 vegetable vendors. Over the years, it has grown to a two-day market with more than 50 unique vendors offering locally grown and hand-crafted products. The market's location is ideal due to the two large, covered pavilions with a state-of-the-art water feature in front of the plaza. Live music and a number of special events highlight the market, including cooking and gardening demonstrations, live radio broadcasts, a petting zoo, a kid's craft corner, and more.

Vinita Oktoberfest

Celebrate the fall season at Vinita’s 39th Annual Oktoberfest at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church. New this year is the Route 66 Cruisin Classics Car Show across the street at North Park. Enjoy all kinds of festival fare including authentic German, Asian, Mexican and American foods and the ever popular Biergarten. Peruse the church bake sale booth as well as dozens of arts and crafts vendors. Children of all ages will enjoy the kid’s tent with games, prizes, and crafts alongside pony and bucking bull rides, plus a petting zoo and balloon artist.
