This event is a membership drive which launches the official formation of the Route 66 Native Arts Alliance, whose mission is: "To create opportunity for the education, display and promotion of Native Art and Artisans on Route 66." Cray Bauxmont-Flynn is the COO of EFG Design and Architecture with offices in Tulsa and Las Vegas. He serves as Chair of the Native Arts Alliance and will present on his Tulsa-based Native American Furniture Design and Manufacturing Company, Amatoya - a Cherokee word meaning "rainmaker." Artist Members: Crystal Hanna, President and Tim Nevaquayah will present on their upcoming month-long Exhibit at the Broken Arrow Historical Society. Native artists will be spotlighted throughout the year at the Museum. Artist-Members will present a show at the Catoosa Community center on July 10, 2021. Booth fees are included in membership. Membership is now open for supporting members at $100 annually and Native Artists at $50 annually. Paid members will attend at no additional cost. Guests are welcome at $25 each. This three day event is a kick-off to showcase native artisans and establish Catoosa as a destination for Native Art and Artisans on Route 66. Native American Art Shows, Museum Events, and a Street Fair with music, vendors and food trucks will be held. Becky Hobbs, Cherokee Singer-Songwriter and creator of Nanyehi will be performing.
