A Territorial Christmas Celebration

December 1-9, 2023

Historic authenticity meets holiday festivity during A Territorial Christmas Celebration, an annual tradition for over 35 years. From a costumed Christmas parade to Victorian home tours, this celebration immerses visitors in the city's lively Territorial period. Watch as decorated floats covered in lights make their way through downtown in the Guthrie Christmas Parade. After the parade ends, the new Territorial Governor will be announced at the post office. During Guthrie's Victorian Walk Evenings, visitors will step back into the Victorian era with carolers in early-1900s dress and decorated store windows complete with re-enactors depicting Victorian-era Guthrie. Pick up some tasty treats from peanut vendors lining the downtown streets. Other activities scheduled for A Territorial Christmas Celebration include the Distinctive Homes Tour, featuring homes decorated in the style of the early 20th century. This event is a perfect family-friendly getaway this holiday season. Make your way to Guthrie to join this spectacular Christmas-themed party complete with live music and local residents dressed in Victorian-era attire. Tulsa Botanic Garden of Lights

December 1-30, 2023

The Tulsa Botanic Garden of Lights is a favorite event during the holiday season. This year’s Christmas lights display is bigger and better than ever. With over a million lights on display, the garden is transformed into a winter wonderland that will delight visitors of all ages. In addition to the dazzling lights, the garden features festive decorations, Christmas music, and plenty of hot chocolate and other refreshments. Thursday nights are filled with caroling and pop-up crafts. St. Nick himself makes an appearance on Fridays and Saturdays.

Kringles Christmas Land in Jenks

December 1-30, 2023

Be sure to head out to Jenks to see the champion of ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight. Starting December 1st, this one-of-a-kind light display will be available for viewing from 6:00p.m. – 10:00p.m. The display is free, and you can drive by or walk up to view the show.

Philbrook Festival

December 1-30, 2023 | 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.

The Philbrook Museum of Art hosts the Philbrook Festival each winter, an annual holiday tradition in Tulsa. This all-day experience at the museum features a regular schedule of holiday-themed offerings and activities for the whole family. From the front gate to the back gardens, tens of thousands of lights illuminate the property during the Philbrook Festival. During Festival Days, enjoy a variety of activities, special exhibitions, a community-sourced Lego Villa and plenty of festive decor. The festive atmosphere reaches its peak during special Festival Nights hosted throughout the Philbrook Festival, with lights illuminating the gardens. Guests can also converge at communal picnic tables and participate in fun-filled, self-guided activities during Festival Nights.

Christmas in the Ville

December 1-31, 2023

Bring the whole family to Bartlesville for the Christmas in the Ville celebration. Guests can bundle up and ice skate at the Historic Train Depot and take advantage of photo backdrops like the 12-foot lighted ornament, a 28-foot Christmas tree and a sleigh. On select dates, Santa will even be available for visits while sitting in the big red sleigh. Throughout the winter season, visitors can stop in to watch a nostalgic evening movie in the park, play lawn games or take a carriage ride throughout downtown Bartlesville. During Christmas in the Ville, be sure to visit the ice-skating rink, complete holiday shopping and appreciate the festive decorations in Bartlesville.

Skate under the festive twinkle lights at Broken Arrow's only outdoor skating rink. Bring your ice skates or rent them directly on-site and glide across the ice under the pavilion at the Rose District Plaza. Bixby Historical Society Festival of the Trees

December 1-31, 2023 | 4 - 11 p.m.

The Bixby Historical Society Festival of the Trees opens Thursday November 23rd. The Lighting ceremony starts at 5:00pm with lights on at 6:00pm. There will be activities for all including hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows. Santa will be there to visit with children of all ages. We will be lighting up over 120 Christmas trees synchronized to over 15 songs. the trees will stay lite every night through the season and Santa will be there every Thursday through Sunday nights. STOMP: The International Sensation!

STOMP is explosive, provocative, sophisticated, sexy, utterly unique and appeals to audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation has garnered an armful of awards and rave reviews, and has appeared on numerous national television shows. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms. The return of the percussive hit also brings some new surprises, with some sections of the show now updated and restructured and the addition of two new full-scale routines, utilizing props like tractor tire inner tubes and paint cans. Grady Nichols Christmas Show

The Grady Nichols Christmas Show, a Tulsa Tradition, will return for its seventh season this year. The 2023 show will be held at the Mabee Center and will feature Andy Chrisman and Kelly Ford, along with a twelve-person cast of Tulsa’s best musical talent. Over the years, the Christmas show has provided upbeat, funky, selections along with original and familiar Christmas songs. This is a perfect way to prepare for the holiday season (who doesn’t love a sax at Christmas!) This year’s theme is “Joining Tulsans Together,” and proceeds will assist the nonprofit, Lisa Bain Ministries, in their mission to deliver hope and tangible support to people facing illness and personal crisis. Care, connection and community is at the heart of Lisa Bain Ministries. The organization provides Resilience Care Boxes and bags, to patients, veterans, Gold Star families, those facing homelessness, and children in crisis. They also incorporate animal therapy into many of their deliveries and projects. This tangible support helps people break through loneliness and find the hope they need. Funds raised go to those in our local community. Let’s join Tulsans together to make a difference in real lives during the Christmas season – and throughout the year.

Meet Santa in the Rose District!

December 10, 2023 | 12 - 2 p.m.

The City of Broken Arrow is hosting a free meet and greets with Santa Claus! Come get your photo taken in the iconic Broken Arrow sleighs with Santa and tell him all about what you want for Christmas. Enjoy the ambiance of the Rose District dressed in the holiday spirit! Theatre Arts Troupe will also be performing during this time. Lines for Santa will be cut off promptly at the end of the event time and those in line will get to meet Santa. We will not take any more guests in line after the cutoff time. For example, if the event ends at 2 pm all guests already in line will get to continue to the meet and greet.

David Phelps Christmas

A graduate from Baylor University, David Phelps is credited among today’s most spectacular voices. His seemingly endless vocal range, which extends more than three octaves, coupled with his gift for communicating a song, has brought the house down in the world’s most prestigious venues. For nearly 20 years, David served as a member of the popular and prestigious Gaither Vocal Band, and during that time received numerous Dove Awards, two Grammy Awards, and multiple platinum-selling recording projects. As a solo artist, he received 2009 Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Long Form Video for the Christmas DVD, “O Holy Night” to add to his many awards and honors. Since 2012, David has topped the Billboard charts time and time again with releases like: the 2012 live DVD “Classic” (#1), the 2015 live DVD “Freedom” (#1), the 2017 live DVD “The Best Of David Phelps” (#1 topping such popular video releases as The Beatles’ “Eight Days A Week”), and most recently the 2018 live DVD “It Must Be Christmas” (#2). The various recordings have been featured on numerous television networks.
