Pop-up exhibit honoring America's 250th anniversary through the legacy of Oklahoma's most beloved humorist, Will Rogers. Explores how his wit, integrity, and empathy continue to reflect the American spirit. Exhibit admission free; general museum admission $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, children under 6 free. Enjoy an epic three-day rock music festival featuring dozens of entertainment acts on three stages. This year's headliners will include Godsmack, Papa Roach and Slayer. The world's largest rock festival of its type, Rocklahoma features high-energy acts, the sound of thrashing guitars, pyrotechnics and roaring vocals. Embrace your inner rocker and mingle with the likes of bikers, 80s metal enthusiasts and classic rock fans. Located four miles north of downtown Pryor, the Rocklahoma festival grounds feature over 6,000 assigned and numbered seats and a general admission lawn that can accommodate over 50,000 visitors. The grounds also have over 4,000 campsites, on-site parking, bathroom facilities and overnight security. Stock the RV, shine up your motorcycle or simply throw a tent in the backseat and head to Rocklahoma for a music festival that is guaranteed to blow your socks off. Enjoy the all-star lineup on the main stage or head into the VIP tent for food and drinks. Merchandise, food and beer vendors will be available along the sidelines. Festival passes or one-day tickets are available.

Lemon-Aid Celebration

Attend the same old-fashioned tradition at the Lemon-Aid Celebration, featuring a wealth of lemonade stands to sample. Bluegrass & Chili Festival

Tahlequah is set to "sizzle" for the 46th annual Bluegrass & Chili Festival. Enjoy an open car show, a children's area and a festival marketplace filled to the brim with arts, crafts and handmade goods for sale. Stick around for a junior showcase featuring youth talent, dance exhibitions and an open car and motorcycle show. With a wide variety of things to do and plenty of chili to sample, the Bluegrass & Chili Festival guarantees a great weekend filled with family fun. Brand new this year the Festival will feature "Chili Dog" races featuring beloved Dachshunds. See which "weiner chili dog" wins all. Join over 20,000 visitors at this annual event and sample chili from cooking teams during the Mid-America Regional Chili Cook-Off. Whether your taste buds crave spicy, mild or something in-between, this chili cook-off is guaranteed to satisfy any appetite. Bring your lawn chairs, pick up a cool drink and enjoy three stages of local, regional and national performance artists. Musicians will entertain the crowds with a wide variety of bluegrass, country and old-fashioned gospel tunes, so show up early for a good seat. All concerts at the Bluegrass & Chili Festival are free. Highlighted artists for 2026 include Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, Rhonda Vincent & The Rage and so many more. World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off
September 12, 2026 | 3 - 7 p.m.
A Vinita tradition since 1979, the World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off features live music, vendors and cowboy games. Celebrate Vinita's rich ranching history by tasting the festival's namesake and local delicacy—calf fries. Visitors who wish to taste the calf fries (also referred to as Rocky Mountain oysters) can purchase tickets to enter the cooking area. Vote for your favorite team in the People's Choice competition and sample other treats including beans, cobblers, salsa, and breads made by the various cook-off teams. Celebrity judges will determine the overall winners. The World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off serves up an average of 2,000 pounds of calf fries and welcomes about 1,500 attendees each year.

Skiatook Pioneer Day Festival
September 17-19, 2026
Head to the Pioneer Day Festival in Skiatook for a great day of family fun. The free festival events kick off Saturday morning with "Runnin' the Rails" certified 5K, followed by the Pioneer Day Parade. Immediately after the parade, gather in Central Park to enjoy carnival rides, exhibits, arts and crafts, friendly competitions and more. Other festivities include a classic car show, museum tours, a quilt show, fishing derby and a concert to wrap up each night of the festival.
