Springtime at Shepherd’s Cross - an authentic working farm just north of Claremore, OK, on Scenic Route 66 - begins with the arrival of our newborn lambs. We invite you to come watch the flock peacefully graze the pastures and rest by the still waters, while the lambs jump for joy and frolic in the fields. Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As a bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Attend the Jana Jae Fiddle Camp and Music Festival and witness fiddlers of all levels and ages come together in a learning experience with master instructors and performers. Classes include demonstrations and instruction, as well as learning to play with groups and before an audience. All acoustic musicians are welcome. Other workshops presented are flat-pick guitar, back-up guitar, mandolin, cello and spoons. Enjoy this fun-filled weekend of learning, great entertainment and jamming with friends. This event will feature bluegrass music, swing and more. Bring the whole family and enjoy great food and great music. Learn from the best area musicians in individual and group sessions, then stick around for RV and tent camping, fishing and boating on Oklahoma's beautiful Grand Lake. Greenwood Film Festival is celebrating its sixth year in 2026. Held in the home of Black Wall Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, the festival's mission is to create an atmosphere of family and community through film and civic discourse while equipping the next generation of storytellers. The festival brings filmmakers and movie enthusiasts together for four days filled with screenings, engaging discussions, classes and networking opportunities. Conquer the Gauntlet is a challenging four-mile obstacle course and adventure race that features over 30 obstacles. Held at 181 Ranch in Bixby, this event will bring you face-to-face with taxing obstacles like climbing over walls, crawling through mud and slogging your way through water one to five feet deep. Conquer the Gauntlet will challenge you mentally and physically, but those who complete the event will be given a T-shirt and bragging rights.

A Vinita tradition since 1979, the World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off features live music, vendors and cowboy games. Celebrate Vinita's rich ranching history by tasting the festival's namesake and local delicacy—calf fries. Visitors who wish to taste the calf fries (also referred to as Rocky Mountain oysters) can purchase tickets to enter the cooking area. Vote for your favorite team in the People's Choice competition and sample other treats including beans, cobblers, salsa, and breads made by the various cook-off teams. Celebrity judges will determine the overall winners. The World's Largest Calf Fry Festival & Cook-Off serves up an average of 2,000 pounds of calf fries and welcomes about 1,500 attendees each year.
