Woolaroc Wonderland of Lights

December 1-17, 2023

Embark on a winter adventure to the Woolaroc Ranch, Museum & Wildlife Preserve near Bartlesville for the annual Woolaroc Wonderland of Lights. Visitors to this much-loved event are invited to ride a wagon or stroll the grounds to enjoy a spectacular display of more than 750,000 glistening lights decorating the Woolaroc grounds and facilities, creating an illuminating atmosphere of magical holiday wonder. Bring the family to Woolaroc Wonderland of Lights and enjoy live entertainment, snack on holiday refreshments and visit Santa Claus in the museum.

Santa's Ozark Mountain Village

December 1-23, 2023

Har-Ber Village Museum becomes a festive holiday haven during Santa's Ozark Mountain Village. Bring the whole family out to this event where buildings within Har-Ber Village will be decorated in Victorian style, with the ambiance of the late 1800s to early 1900s. Enjoy an array of holiday activities for all ages, including photos with Santa and carolers singing classic Christmas songs at the bandstand gazebo. From wintery play in an hourly snowfall to sending a letter to the North Pole and indulging in freshly baked cookies, you'll find plenty of fun at Santa's Ozark Mountain Village.While you're there, warm-up with hot cocoa, wassail or cider and browse through a variety of unique seasonal gifts. Santa Claus is scheduled to make an appearance at the visitor center and a gingerbread house workshop will bring out the creative spirit in everyone. You won't want to miss this festive celebration of Christmas at Santa's Ozark Mountain Village in Grove.

Rhema Christmas Lights

December 1-31, 2023 | 5:30 - 11 p.m.

Join thousands of annual visitors at the Rhema Christmas Lights and witness over three million shimmering lights synchronized to Christmas music across 110 acres. This much-loved lights display in Broken Arrow began in 1982 and has been attracting visitors ever since. Experience the wonder of illuminated festive figures like a gingerbread family with lollipops and gumdrops, Noah's ark with animals, 3D angels and reindeer, a Christmas tree forest, a 50-figure nativity scene and more. Visitors to the Rhema Christmas Lights can drive through the lights in their own vehicle, get out of the car and walk around the park, or view the spectacular displays from a horse-drawn carriage. Don't miss the Rhema Park bridge, complete with over 90,000 lights draped across the bridge alone. Synchronized to both classic and modern Christmas music, these lights have delighted visitors of all ages. While there, enjoy concessions that include cups of hot chocolate, piping hot coffee or sweet apple cider while venturing into the displays. Popcorn, funnel cakes and other treats will also be available. Admission to Rhema Christmas Lights is free; however, donations are appreciated.

Depot Green Christmas Train

December 1-31, 2023 | 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

All aboard the Depot Green Christmas Train in Muskogee. This festive train welcomes all ages out to enjoy a short ride through the Depot Green area where you can gaze at twinkling stars and holiday lights. Hot chocolate, popcorn and sweet treats will be available for purchase.

Route 66 Christmas Chute

The Route 66 Christmas Chute is a unique experience in downtown Sapulpa. You will arrive and be amazed as you are walking under blocks and blocks of Christmas lights and decorations. Each "Christmas Chute" will have different themed decor. You will be mesmerized by the millions of lights and decorations. Enjoy the festival atmosphere with music and Christmas shopping.

Garden of Lights

December 1-31, 2023

Experience animated displays and over 1.2 million shimmering lights at Muskogee's annual Garden of Lights. Drive through Honor Heights Park and view 130 acres of trees, bushes and water areas decorated for the holiday season. Rose and azalea bushes will be illuminated with color, imitating their natural state during the blooming of spring. This Christmas light display will also feature lighted displays of deer, squirrels and birds scattered amongst a wide variety of trees wrapped in lights.

The Woolaroc Retrospective Exhibit & Sale

December 1-31, 2023

If you love art or just have a great appreciation for wildlife and nature, you won't want to miss out on this exciting exhibit on display at Bartlesville's Woolaroc Museum this fall. Bringing together eleven acclaimed landscape and wildlife artists from across the country, "The Woolaroc Retrospective Exhibit" will feature an impressive array of works. As you tour this collection, you'll see the stirring works of painters William Alther, Thomas Blackshear II, Tom Browning, Scott Burdick, Glenn Dean, Jane DeDecker, Ralph Ober, Dan Ostermiller, Roseta Santiago, Mian Situ and Daniel Sprick. Art collectors will be able to purchase a wide range of original works as well. Bring the family along for this unique experience where art and nature collide.

Comic Book Writing Workshop

Comic Book Writing | 4-week workshop Starts November 8 from 7-9 p.m. and meets weekly through December 6 Registration required at https://bit.ly/46cwxsn In this course, you’ll develop and receive feedback on a short comic book script, learning techniques for shaping interesting characters and telling a great story visually. About the instructor Tvli Jacob, a member of the Choctaw Nation, is a filmmaker, comic book writer, and researcher, serving as Clinical Assistant Professor at OSU Center for Health Sciences. Having worked with tribes throughout the United States and Canada, Dr. Jacob has used media content through community-based participatory research media methods. He has collaborated on several creative projects, including film shorts (American Indian Graffiti: This Thing Life, Ronnie BoDean) and the graphic novel Rez Detectives. Registration will close at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6. A limited number of scholarships are occasionally available for those with financial need.
