This is an outdoor event where vendors sell plants, garden art, jewelry and other gift items. While visitors shop, they can enjoy entertainment from local organizations, enter to win door prizes, purchase tickets for raffle items, or talk with a Master Gardener about gardening questions. Proceeds provide a $1,000 college scholarship to an Owasso senior and provide beautification projects throughout the city, including the Owasso Public Library gardens and an Up with Trees site.

Tulsa Garden Club celebrates its 90th - Emerald Anniversary with our community's longest-running educational garden tour. A Gem of a Tour showcases five private residential gardens, and two interiors, in properties with early-Tulsa ties in Riverview, Riverside, and Florence Park. Tulsa Garden Club continues its 90th - Emerald Anniversary celebration with its annual FREE standard flower show. From its beginning, the Club has staged exhibitions for the public to learn more about horticulture, floral design and botanical arts. Local club members and affiliates' entries are eligible for a variety of awards in this show conforming to National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) Handbook for Flower Shows. Judges are NGC-accredited.

Author, botanist, and historian, Judith Sumner will present a special program looking at military history from a botanical perspective. From victory gardens and agriculture to rubber, coal, paper, timber, drugs, and fibers, plant products supplied the wartime materials that played key roles in the victory. The presentation will be held Monday, July 8, 2019, at 7 p.m. at the Tulsa Garden Center. The lecture is free and open to the public.
