Oklahoma Dressage Society Show

Attend the Oklahoma Dressage Society Show at Tulsa Expo Square for a pool of equestrian talent. See riders and horses compete for top marks in a series of difficult tests at this spring showcase. Witness horses perform a series of bouncy walks and trots in a memorized sequence, an impressive feat to all watching from the stands.

Southern Plains Mopaar Festival
May 10-12, 2024
Make your way to Bristow this May for the Southern Plains MOPAAR Fest. This three-day car show and race event will see vehicles of all kinds gather, cruise and compete against one another. First-day festivities include a cruise down Route 66 as well as a poker run. The following day, watch the cars compete in all-day drag racing followed by a car show and swap meet. Racing and swapmeet continue into the final day where the final awards will be given out. Don't miss this three-day auto extravaganza when the Southern Plains MOPAAR Fest returns for its fourth year.

Breeder’s Invitational

The Breeder's Invitational at Tulsa Expo Square is a can't-miss event for equestrian lovers everywhere. During fifteen days of intense competition with high stakes, cowboys and cowgirls come together and give some of the best cutting performances in the country and take their abilities to the limit. Rooster Days Rodeo
May 12-13, 2024
The Rooster Days Rodeo is an annual event coinciding with the Rooster Days Festival in downtown Broken Arrow. Come out for bareback bronc, calf roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, team roping, ladies breakaway roping, calf scramble, and both open and junior barrel racing. Watch some of the state's finest ropers and riders compete for money and prizes at this thrilling annual Western event.

Rooster Days Run

GRM Bug Run
May 18, 2024
Ride through the beautiful scenery surrounding Muskogee at the Gospel Rescue Mission Bug Run in May. The event challenges motorcyclists to catch bugs on a target while traveling a sixty-mile route through scenic northeastern Oklahoma. Once you complete the course, return to the Depot Green to tally up your bugs then enjoy live music and cuisine from local food trucks. Registration, 4:00p.m.; judging, 7:00p.m.

Real Okie Championship

Grab your golf bag and head to Muskogee to compete in the annual Real Okie Championship. Amateur and professional golfers alike are invited to partake in this six-day golf tournament at Muskogee Golf Club. Spectators are welcome to watch for free, while competitors will have the chance at taking home cash earnings for top rankings. Hours: Monday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Tuesday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Wednesday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm; Thursday: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm, Friday: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm, Saturday: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo
May 24, 2024
Make your way to Claremore for all the excitement of the annual Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo. Rodeo events include bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, mutton bustin' for the kids, rodeo clowns and a dance following the nightly performance. See area cowboys compete in steer wrestling, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding and more. Vendors will be on-site to sell Western wear and goods to the crowds. Pick up a cowboy hat and secure a spot in the stands for the Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo, an action-packed event you won't want to miss. Rodeo queens will also be on hand to lead the opening ceremonies.

78th Annual Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo
May 24-26, 2024
Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo is a fun time for the whole family ; from Mutton Bustin’ to Bull Riding there is something for everyone to enjoy! Gates open at 6pm May 24-26 with kick off at 7pm nightly. Enjoy Mutton Bustin’ and Calf Scramble, both for the younger cowboys and cowgirls, starting at 7. PRCA performances start at 8pm nightly. Concessions and beverages on site with numerous vendors offering handmade items of western ware and decor. Parking is located at Lantow Stadium at Claremore High School, with complimentary shuttles to and from Stampede Park. Shuttles start at 5:30pm nightly, and last trip from Stampede Park to the stadium will be 10:15p.m.
