Summer Barn Sale & Plant Exchange
June 1-3, 2023 | 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Summer Barn Sale (Garage Sale) & Plant Exchange Thursday June 1, Friday June 2, Saturday June 3, 2023 7:00 am – 6:00 pm Barn Sale: Donated items graciously accepted. Please drop off your donations at the barn Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm through May 27th. Huge, Multi-Family Garage Sale of donated articles including appliances, antiques, farming items, furniture, wall décor, housewares, DVDs, farm and garden items, children’s games and toys, home decorator items, bedding, office supplies, books, and collectibles, as well as clothing for the entire family. Photographs of sale items can be found on our Facebook page the week of the sale at: https://www.facebook.com/ShepherdsCross Indoors and air conditioned. Sale benefits Farming Missions, Starter Flocks, and Wool Mills in remote locations around the world. Locally, the sale benefits Rural Veterinary Outreach and Baby Blessing Bags. 100% of funds from the barn sale will go directly towards the projects. Monetary Donations towards these missions are greatly appreciated. A tax-deductible receipt is provided upon request. Plant Exchange: Bring a plant to leave and take a plant home. Plant selections will include bulbs, tubers, bushes, trees, grasses, seeds, herbs and much more! This is a great way to expand your garden. Please be prepared to identify the plant you leave with its name, color, and planting characteristics. Great fun! Garbage to Gold Composting Workshop
June 14, 2023 | 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Turn your garbage into gold! Feed your garden and stop trashing valuable nutrients! In this workshop we will cover multiple composting options that are perfect for small indoor spaces, large outdoor spaces and everything in-between. Everyone from apartment dwellers to folks with yards will find a way to make gold! Leigh will discuss hot and cold composting while helping participants find the best fit for their space. Kate will chat about all things vermicomposting while providing participants an opportunity to investigate an established worm bin.

TAAS Monthly Member Meeting

The Tulsa Area Azalea Society meets every third Tuesday of the month in the Outdoor Classroom at Woodward Park building. We are currently welcoming new members and would love to have you join! Each month we discuss gardening tips and topics for azaleas, community outreach opportunities, and answer questions from the general public on how best they can care for their azaleas.
