Summer Barn Sale & Plant Exchange

Please drop off your donations at the barn Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm through May 27th. Huge, Multi-Family Garage Sale of donated articles including appliances, antiques, farming items, furniture, wall décor, housewares, DVDs, farm and garden items, children’s games and toys, home decorator items, bedding, office supplies, books, and collectibles, as well as clothing for the entire family. Sale benefits Farming Missions, Starter Flocks, and Wool Mills in remote locations around the world. Monetary Donations towards these missions are greatly appreciated. A tax-deductible receipt is provided upon request. Plant Exchange: Bring a plant to leave and take a plant home. Plant selections will include bulbs, tubers, bushes, trees, grasses, seeds, herbs and much more! This is a great way to expand your garden. Oklahoma Renaissance Festival

June 1-4, 2023 | 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Take a step back to the 16th century, into the Golden Age of England with Queen Elizabeth I! Over 400 performers and artisans are present at one of Oklahoma's premier annual events, the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival. Hosted by the Castle of Muskogee, this event features a royal court, jousters and jesters, magicians, musicians and minstrels as well as many craftspeople and artisans. Living history demonstrations, live performances and great period food rounds out an excellent festival. The festival runs every weekend in May, through June 4, and is also open on Monday, May 29th, Memorial Day.

Switchyard Festival

June 1-4, 2023

Experience five days of literature, music and ideas when you attend the University of Tulsa's Switchyard Festival. During the festival, downtown Tulsa will be packed with keynote events and performances from more than 30 local and national speakers and performers. Explore the rich history of Tulsa by digging into the past and discussing new ideas for what the future might hold. In addition to all of the Switchyard festivities, guests will have the opportunity to attend the World of Bob Dylan, an independent event within the festival that brings together fans, critics and journalists to discuss and celebrate the work of one of the nation's most acclaimed singer-songwriters.

First Friday Art Crawl

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As an added bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Global Gatherings: Caribbean

June 2, 2023 | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Gathering Place will celebrate the vibrancy of the Tulsa community at Global Gatherings, a 13-week program highlighting various cultures and regions of the world. Every Friday in May, June, and July from 10 a.m. to noon in ONEOK Boathouse, families will be immersed in a new region of the world and learn about different cultures through hands-on activities, art, storytelling, dance, music, and more. Global Gatherings will be facilitated by members of the Tulsa community who are eager to share their culture with others. Join us on Friday, June 2 to celebrate the cultures of the Caribbean! SunFest

Known to many as Oklahoma's biggest outdoor picnic, Bartlesville's SunFest returns for a long weekend of relaxed, family-friendly entertainment. SunFest features live musical entertainment, a diverse selection of arts and crafts, children's games, storytellers, food and much more. Enjoy the sounds of jazz, rhythm and blues, rock, bluegrass and contemporary Christian music while over 20 individual artists and bands perform on three stages throughout Sooner Park. Another highlight of this summer celebration is the annual SunFest Car Show, held on Saturday.  Visitors can expect to see a wide variety of Camaros, Firebirds, Mustangs, modified vehicles, low-riders, imports and more. See which vehicles win the top three awards in several categories. Browse through the booths in SunFest's annual juried arts and craft show. Vendors and local artists will feature paintings, sculptures, drawings, wearable art, stained glass, wood crafts and wooden toys. Don't forget to swing by YouthFest for a wide variety of free activities designed specifically for children of all ages. Past activities have included kite making, cookie decorating, face painting, puzzles and a bean bag toss. SunFest also features delicious fair food from over two dozen food vendors. Take a break with a tasty treat in the large dining tent, or simply browse through food vendors offering everything from traditional, down-home favorites to ethnic specialties. Dig into funnel cakes, kettle corn, Indian tacos, fried green tomatoes, roasted pecans, homemade root beer and much more. OKM Music Festival

June 2-12, 2023

The OKM Music festival has been providing international music talent and education to northeastern Oklahoma since 1983. As a staple of the small, rural community of Bartlesville, this festival provides an oasis of arts and culture to the city’s 35,000+ residents as well as to the surrounding area at large. Programming includes ticketed and free concerts in all music genres, artist workshops and masterclasses, music camps and conservatories, Native American dance demonstrations, musical storytelling, and performances that introduce children to global music genres from different countries. Past performers have included: Joshua Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Sarah Chang, Tulsa Ballet, Itzhak Perlman, James Galway, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Solisti New York Orchestra, Leontyne Price, Houston Ballet II, and Wilson Philips. OKM's music festival is also multi-locational, utilizing event spaces in Bartlesville, Tulsa and other surrounding areas; bringing the arts to the masses and encouraging more tourism activity in Northeastern Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) invites the public to witness the creative process of local artists during the Tulsa Art Studio Tour. Saint Francis Tulsa

June 9-11, 2023

Saint Francis Tulsa Tough is an annual three-day cycling festival designed to promote fitness and healthy lifestyles while showcasing the beautiful city of Tulsa. From professional-level races and recreational rides to tour rides and youth activities, Tulsa Tough offers racing events and fun activities for everyone. Festivities include unique local vendors, exhibitors and food throughout the downtown area. Races begin Friday evening with a Men's Cat 3, Women’s Pro 1/2, Men’s 1/2, and Men's Pro 1 under the lights of downtown Tulsa’s Blue Dome Entertainment District. A spectator must-see, the races are fast and weave through crowded streets lined with bars and restaurants. With events for all skill levels in the historic Tulsa Arts District, Saturday is designed for the whole family with races, Gran Fondo rides of 40, 70 and a monster 110 mile, and more. On Sunday, events include the Tulsa Townie Ride, Gran Fondo rides of 40, 66 and 108 miles. Sunday's main event is the grueling River Parks Criterium, known to test even the most experienced racers. Running along the scenic Arkansas River and home of "Cry Baby Hill," this race distinguishes Tulsa Tough from other races. Winners of the team and individual omnium competition will be crowned after Sunday’s races. Pre-registration is required for all races and rides. Sunday also includes the Tulsa Tough Kid's Zone on Riverside Drive. The enclosed area will have inflatables, age appropriate toys and plenty of kid friendly activities. It is aimed at children ages two to eleven, and parents are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs and snacks. You won't want to miss all the festivities and action this year, so bring the family and enjoy this top-notch Oklahoma event.

This production is rated PG-13 for some adult language. Proposals is a full-length romantic comedy-drama and Neil Simon’s 30th play. It originally opened on Broadway in 1997. A nostalgic memory play, Proposals recalls one idyllic afternoon in the summer of 1953, the last time the Hines family gathers at its retreat in the Poconos. Guided by Clemma Diggins, the devoted housekeeper for Burt Hines and his daughter Josie, she is looking back on the events when nine people converged on this tranquil country home and not so tranquilly sorted out their tangled lives and loves. The Playhouse welcomes director Kathryn Hartney! Kathryn is well known in the Tulsa area as both an actress and director. She has directed for American Theatre Company, World Stage Theatre Company, Theatre Pops, Heller Theatre, and Sapulpa Community Theatre. She most recently directed Enemy of the People in 2021 for American Theatre Company. Tulsa Holiday Summer Circuit

June 9-30, 2023

Save the date for the Tulsa Holiday Summer Circuit. This equestrian event will feature trail, Western riding, Western pleasure and hunter under saddle (open and amateur) divisions. Four full VRH shows will include ranch trail, ranch riding, ranch confirmation and ranch cow work. New for 2023, there will also be open breakaway and working Western rail classes. Tie down roping, breakaway, heading and heeling are scheduled to take place on July 1 and 2, while working cowhorse, boxing and the VRH cow work will follow the roping. The Tulsa Holiday Summer Circuit is proud to host a Vegas Tuffest Jr. World Championship qualifier on June 30.  Qualify now, as last year’s championship in Las Vegas paid out over $1 million in cash and prize.

Woolly Gospel Singing & Antique Tractor Show

June 10, 2023 | 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Shepherd’s Cross is hosting its annual Woolly Gospel Singing. All individuals, families, or church groups are invited to listen or participate. Gospel, Country Christian, Worship and Hymns will be enjoyed inside the Tour Barn. Gospel Sing is 1pm to 4pm. We need volunteer musicians to bring your instruments, your voice, and your favorite songs. Folks can pick, sing, and play together – like the good old Days! Those who register in advance are given priority on the roster that fills quickly. However, we will allow walk-ins as time allows. A few antique tractors will be on display for the day. The tractor show is from 10am to 5pm. Come enjoy restored antique tractors and learn about America’s rich agricultural heritage. Please register to bring your antique tractor. Gospel Singing & Dessert Social

June 10, 2023

Join in for an afternoon of gospel singing and picking at Shepherd's Cross, an authentic working sheep farm in Claremore. This one-day event features an open stage where you can bring a musical instrument and sing your favorite songs. Families, individuals and groups are welcome to attend this free event, which will be held indoors at the Tour Barn. While you're there, take an educational and interactive tour of the farm museum, sill and Bible garden. Guided tours depart every 30 minutes, and self-guided tours are also available. The Shepherd's shop will also be open for guests to browse work from over 50 local crafters, as well as Amish jams, yarn and more. Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic and enjoy it on the farm, although snacks and drinks will be available for purchase.

Hogs 'n' Hot Rods

June 10, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Head to historic downtown Collinsville for the annual Hogs 'n' Hot Rods event. Featuring several car and truck categories, hundreds of classic, custom, and vintage cars, thousands of motorcycles and vehicles from 1900 to the present, Hogs 'n' Hot Rods is hog heaven for any auto or motorcycle enthusiast. Easy plaques will be awarded to the first 200 entries, while trophies will be given to first, second and third-place entries in each category of competition. Hogs 'n' Hot Rods will keep the entire family entertained with a variety of vendors, live entertainment, arts, crafts and delicious food including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue and more. Let the kids explore the children's area filled with inflatables, or shop along Main Street Collinsville to beat the heat. There will also be a bike decoration contest, a coloring contest, and ice painting for children. Enjoy a variety of live music at the event as well.

TCC Children’s Summer Theatre Presents Auditions for The SpongeBob Musical Auditions for the Tulsa Community College’s Children’s Summer Theatre production of The SpongeBob Musical will be held on June 10 and 11th from 1-4pm and callbacks and new auditioners on June 17th from 1-4pm at the Pace Studio Theatre at TCC Southeast Campus. Auditioners can arrive anytime between 1-4pm on any day. Casting ages 6-17 years of age. Everyone must sing and dance. Audition requirements – 16-32 bars of a Disney song preferably with piano sheet music in a binder– an accompanist will be provided. No acapella. Actors will also be asked to read from the script. A nostalgic memory play, Proposals recalls one idyllic afternoon in the summer of 1953, the last time the Hines family gathers at its retreat in the Poconos. Guided by Clemma Diggins, the devoted housekeeper for Burt Hines and his daughter Josie, she is looking back on the events when nine people converged on this tranquil country home and not so tranquilly sorted out their tangled lives and loves. The Playhouse welcomes director Kathryn Hartney! Kathryn is well known in the Tulsa area as both an actress and director. She has directed for American Theatre Company, World Stage Theatre Company, Theatre Pops, Heller Theatre, and Sapulpa Community Theatre. She most recently directed Enemy of the People in 2021 for American Theatre Company. 7th Annual Heroes and Hot Rods Car Show

Will's Wild West Kids Camp

Green Corn Festival

June 22-24, 2023

The Green Corn Festival is an old-fashioned, fun family festival held in downtown Bixby. This annual event hearkens back to days of family picnics, afternoons filled with bright summer sun and sipping lemonade with friends.  Enjoy a weekend full of carnival rides, a pageant, live music and much more. Other activities scheduled for the festival include an antique tractor pull, corn-eating contest, watermelon seed spitting contest, balloon toss and more. Browse arts and crafts vendor booths and sample various foods from on-site vendors throughout the day, then stick around for live music in the evening.  Thursday: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Friday: 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am - 12:00 am.
