Pony of the Americas National Congress

See the finest in the POA breed at the Pony of the Americas National Congress, held at Tulsa Expo Square. This nine-day event is full of equestrian activities featuring the popular, gentle, child-sized breed. Cheer the young competitors as they demonstrate their proficiency in different areas including timed events, jumping, bareback riding and barrel racing.

Jenks Boomfest

July 4, 2026 | 9:15 - 9:30 p.m.

This Independence Day, Oklahoma Aquarium's riverfront backyard offers a front-row view to one of the most vibrant firework displays in the Tulsa region. In the afternoon, Jenks Riverwalk has a full day of activities for families including food, drinks, live music and more. The Oklahoma Aquarium will have exhibits available to peruse ahead of the fireworks show. Head to Jenks for this Independence Day holiday and create long lasting memories with families and friends. Tee Pee Drive-In's Centennial Sunday

Slamboree Truck, Car & Bike Show

July 24-26, 2026

Slamboree welcomes spectators and car enthusiasts out to enjoy the sights and sounds of one of the Midwest's largest car shows. Held at Tulsa's Osage Casino Hotel, this event is open to all vehicle types, including cars, trucks, street rods, rat rods, and motorcycles. Judging starts Saturday and continues Sunday if needed. There will be top awards for cars, trucks, and bikes, plus 'best of' awards, kids choice and ladies choice.

Craig County Free Fair

July 25-31, 2026

The annual Craig County Free Fair in Vinita features a variety of exhibits, livestock shows, children's activities and nightly events. Come out and support area 4-H and FFA riders in the fair's series of horse shows, or browse through agricultural exhibits highlighting poultry, rabbits, breeding stock, goat, sheep and more. Celebrate the agricultural bounty of the area with a visit through the fair's numerous horticulture and baked goods displays, or simply grab some tasty fair food and enjoy a stroll around the fairgrounds. Visitors to the Craig County Free Fair will be treated to the Craig County Fair pageant, a dog show, arts and crafts, photography exhibits and more. One of the oldest running county fairs in Oklahoma, the Craig County Free Fair also features nightly performances and entertainment including ranch rodeos, antique tractor pulls and shooting exhibitions.
