Get ready for a summer of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on fun at Camp Guthrie! Join us every Wednesday in July at 10 a.m. for this FREE series designed to engage kids through interactive learning. Each week, we will explore a new topic led by local community partners. The session kicks off with an educational experience, followed by a hands-on activity that encourages kids to learn by doing. Camp Guthrie wraps up for the summer with Camp-A-Palooza on August 1, a fun-filled celebration you won't want to miss! Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Spring & Summer Tours at Shepherd's Cross Farm
July 1-3, 7-11, 14-18, 21-25, & 28-31, 2026 | 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Springtime at Shepherd’s Cross - an authentic working farm just north of Claremore, OK, on Scenic Route 66 - begins with the arrival of our newborn lambs. We invite you to come watch the flock peacefully graze the pastures and rest by the still waters, while the lambs jump for joy and frolic in the fields. Tour Options • Self-Guided Tour (Donation-based; suggested $5 per person) Stroll the farm at your own pace and enjoy watching the sheep in their natural habitat. • Guided Walking Tour (Donation-based; suggested $5 per person) Learn more about our flock with a guided walk adjacent to the pastures. Drop-ins are welcome, or you may pre-schedule. • Guided Wagon Ride Tour ($7 per person) Experience the flock up close with a wagon ride directly into the pasture. o Note: Must be pre-scheduled. Wagon holds 20+ passengers and is ramp-loading. Bible Garden Tours Spring blossoms also signal the start of our Bible Garden tours. Shepherd’s Cross is proud to house one of the few Bible Gardens in the U.S., featuring over 100 plants with Biblical references. • Self-Guided Tour: Explore our English Country Garden and follow along with our educational placards and map brochures. (Donation-based; suggested $5 per person) • Audio Tour: Enhance your walk with our online audio guide, available at https://shepherdscross.com/bible-garden.html Every visit includes: • Petting Barn: Meet our sheep, lambs, and other friendly farm animals. • Educational Demonstrations: Learn about Nomadic and Biblical shepherding practices. • Wool Mill Tour: See the journey of wool from sheep to finished item. • Farm Museum & Educational Silo: Interactive exhibits for all ages. Plan Your Visit • Hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. • Groups: Please pre-schedule field trips for groups of 20 or more. • Dining: Visit our picnic area! You are welcome to bring your own lunch; snack and beverage concessions are also available on-site. • Farm Store: Don’t forget to stop by! Our Farm Store is an Oklahoma Farmer’s Market HUB with nearly 100 local consignors. We carry handmade, unique items as well as yarn and fiber produced and processed right here on the farm. Additionally, we carry felting supplies, and spinning/weaving tools. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, Oklahoma Museum Association member, Farmer’s Market Hub, Made in Oklahoma Company, and is Animal Welfare Approved.

Pop-up exhibit honoring America's 250th anniversary through the legacy of Oklahoma's most beloved humorist, Will Rogers. Explores how his wit, integrity, and empathy continue to reflect the American spirit. Exhibit admission free; general museum admission $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, children under 6 free. Sensory Night at the Oklahoma Aquarium

Join us at the Oklahoma Aquarium for Sensory Awareness Evenings on the 1st Tuesday of each month. With low lights & quiet music, you & your little & big humans alike can explore the Oklahoma Aquarium without the usual crowd-perfect for people that get peopled out easily! Tulsa Rock, Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show

Show highlights include rocks, minerals, jewelry, fossils, a fluorescent room, beads, crystals, a touch and feel table, working exhibits, displays, and a free kid’s zone. TICKETS: $7 for adults, kids 12 and under free with paid adult, First responders and military free with ID, Scouts free in uniform. All show multi day pass $12. Will Rogers Memorial Museum — America 250 Summer Programs & Events

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum continues its summer America 250 programming with "Rogers and the Republic" exhibit, special movie nights screening classic Will Rogers films, guided tours, and public programming honoring the great Oklahoman and the nation's 250th anniversary. Camp Woolaroc (Ages 6 to 8)

Remember your childhood dreams of going to a summer camp filled with outdoor adventure? This dream has been a reality for more than 1,000 children who have attended Camp Woolaroc in Bartlesville over the last decade. Here, kids aged 6-8 can experience walking wild trails, canoeing, catching fish, making pottery, learning about Native American cultures, meeting historical figures and visiting the historically-accurate Mountain Man Camp.

This important Native American event will occur northwest of town and will feature a wide variety of traditional dancing and beautiful regalia. Rogers and the Republic Exhibit Opening
July 26, 2026 | 7 p.m.
On Friday, June 26, the Will Rogers Memorial Museum invites you to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with the debut of the Rogers and the Republic pop-up exhibit. Will Rogers, known for his wit and candid political commentary, entertained audiences across party lines. His legacy of service, integrity, hard work, education, and empathy continues to reflect the spirit of America. Experience this special exhibit, a highlight of America’s 250th anniversary, exploring Will Rogers’ perspective on politics and American ideals. View photos, memorable quotes, and portraits of the five presidents Rogers knew personally. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a cannon salute, followed by performances from a drummer boy, a fife player, and a Thomas Jefferson impersonator. Following the opening festivities, guests are invited to enjoy a special screening of the Will Rogers classic, A Connecticut Yankee.
