Grand Lake Fireworks

July 3, 2023

Come to the Grand River Dam to watch the spectacular Grand Lake Fireworks in Disney. Spend the day taking in the sights, take a tour of the dam, swim, camp and enjoy the lake by boat. At dusk, make your way to Cherokee Area at Grand Lake State Park and enjoy this free fireworks show over the lake. Grand Lake Fireworks will take place between the two spillways on the Grand River Dam on Grand Lake O' the Cherokees, and the Grand River Dam parking lot at Langley will be open for people to park and enjoy the show.

Independence Day Fireworks In Eufaula

July 3-4, 2023

The city of Eufaula holds its July 4th fireworks celebrations from 8 P.M. to 9 P.M. The event is free to attend. It provides the best way to celebrate our nation's freedom. You can watch the fireworks from either land or on a boat in the lake. The celebration is organized by the Eufaula Area Chamber of Commerce Freedom Celebration. This year it will begin on Saturday, July 3rd, and extend for the whole weekend. Besides the colorful fireworks, there are plenty of other activities for the whole family to enjoy, starting with the fun run at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park on Saturday at 7 A.M.It is a great way to spend quality time with family and friends as we commemorate the day our country gained independence. There are many more exciting things to do around Lake Eufaula on July 4th weekend. You can visit the nearby museums, local galleries, and landmarks with your family during the day. Folds of Honor FreedomFest in Tulsa

July 4, 2023

Folds of Honor FreedomFest in Tulsa Visible for miles around, an estimated 80,000 spectators enjoy the view of the Folds of Honor FreedomFest presented by QuikTrip Corporation from Dream Keepers Park, River West Festival Park and along the Arkansas River including the Gathering Place. Spectators can experience the full effect of this patriotic celebration by tuning into radio sponsor KRMG (740 AM & 102.3 FM) during the display to listen to the accompanying musical score. Scenic Tulsa’s River Parks along the Arkansas River is a perfect place for family picnics, live music by local bands, and kids' activities. With three stages along the river, face painting, inflatables, and food, the FreedomFest has plenty of entertainment. It also boasts one of the largest free fireworks displays in Oklahoma. Boomfest at Oklahoma Aquarium

Looking for the best view of the Jenks Boomfest fireworks show? Look no further than the Oklahoma Aquarium! Our riverfront backyard offers a front-row seat to the most dazzling Fourth of July display in the area. Visit the cool exhibits indoors, then head outside to watch the fireworks. Bring lawn chairs and blankets, but no outside food or coolers, please. Food truck and beverage options will be available, or you can grab a bite at our Coral Reef Café! Members are free; non-members pay general admission rates. Parking is available for $10/car. The last tickets are sold at 8:30 p.m., and all aquarium exhibits close at 9 p.m.

The Williamsons are coming to town!

Bixby First Assembly invites you to be a part of an incredible night of music and inspiration featuring one of the top groups in Gospel Music-The Williamsons! Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 16th at 5:00 pm at Bixby First Assembly of God, located at 107 N. Stanley in downtown Bixby. The Williamsons have produced more than a dozen recordings with much of their material written by Lisa and Donnie Williamson. Several of their songs have reached the Singing News top 40, the prevailing chart for Southern Gospel Radio. In December 2015, the group achieved their first #1 song, “Shout,” and received their second #1 song in March 2019 for, “Every Moment, Every Mountain, Every Mile”. Their latest album, “Above Everything” is on track to equal their past recordings, having already produced two top 20 songs! They have had many Featured Artists segments on the Gospel Greats and Sirius XM Enlighten radio. Their music is regularly played on southern gospel radio stations around the world.

American Buckskin World Championship Show

All classes of riders compete in keyhole, showmanship, riding, horsemanship, barrel racing, pole bending and reining. Tulsa County FREE Fair - Oklahoma's FIRST County Fair!

The annual Tulsa County Fair has been held every year since 1903 as a way for individuals to show fair exhibits they have worked on all year while learning new skills or improving existing skills. Exhibitors also have the opportunity to share what they have learned with others during the Tulsa County FREE Fair. Only enrolled Tulsa County 4-H members can enter in the 4-H exhibits, but any resident age 5 and up of Tulsa County or any member of a Tulsa County extension based organization such as: 4-H, Oklahoma Home and Community Education (OHCE), Master Gardeners, or Master Wellness, may enter in the Tulsa County Fair Open Class. Event takes place on the Tulsa County Fairgrounds - Check website for exact location. Entries are turned in on Tuesday from 4pm - 7pm. Judging takes place on Wednesday and is closed to the public.
