Tee Pee Drive-In's Centennial Sunday

Every Sunday | 12 a.m.
August 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2026

Celebrate the magic of Route 66 and the spirit of Americana at the historic Teepee Drive-In in Sapulpa. Beginning May 2026 and running through September, Sunday evenings are Centennial Sundays, a special movie series honoring the 100th anniversary of Route 66. The lineup will feature timeless classics like "Oklahoma!," beloved westerns, Native American stories and films that showcase the rich history and culture of the Mother Road. Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo Parade

August 5, 2026 | 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Kick off the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo alongside Vinita residents during the annual rodeo parade. During this must-see event, hundreds of spectators line the streets as over 100 parade entries march down Route 66. Bring the family to enjoy the festivities surrounding the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo.

First Friday Art Crawl

August 7, 2026 | 6 - 9 p.m.

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As a bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. Hit the district early for dinner, or stay a little later for a craft cocktail best enjoyed on an outdoor patio.

Wreath Laying & Flyover

August 14, 2026 | 12 - 12:30 p.m.

Attend the Wreath Laying & Flyover at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum to commemorate the upcoming anniversary of Will Roger's death. Fondly referred to as "Oklahoma's Favorite Son," Rogers died alongside pilot Wiley Post in a plane crash on August 15, 1935 in Alaska. Wreaths will be laid at Rogers' tomb and a flyover will conclude the solemn event that honors one of Oklahoma's most famous humorists and philosophers.

Jazz on the Green

August 15, 2026 | 7 - 11 p.m.

Head to Tulsa this August for Jazz on the Green, a free music event featuring local, regional and national jazz musicians. Hear a full range of jazz styles like smooth, contemporary, modern, pop, R&B and more. Take the whole family and enjoy local food trucks, vendor booths, a kid’s zone splash pad and more while hearing a broad range electric jazz music in the heart of downtown Tulsa.

Tunes & Spoons Chili Fest

August 21-23, 2026

Make your way to the Claremore Expo Center for the Tunes & Spoons Chili Fest. Enjoy three days of live music and bowl after bowl of hearty chili. There will be something for everyone to enjoy including a car show and a fun zone for the little ones. Shop from local vendor booths and visit the craft tent and artisanal market for handmade goodies and artwork. The weekend will draw to a close with Salsa Sunday, which offers visitors a chance to try local salsa recipes ranging from mild to fiery hot.

Wild Brew

August 22, 2026 | 5 - 8 p.m.

Wild Brew brings together some of Tulsa's most delicious restaurants and first-rate beers from around the U.S. and the world at the Arvest Convention Center. Enjoy some food and drinks as well as live entertainment from local musicians. Place your silent auction bids, meet falcons and a bald eagle and more at the Wild Brew in Tulsa. Restaurants that have contributed in the past include Andolini's Pizza, Brady Tavern, Brother's Pizza, Caz's Chowhouse Restaurant, Kilkenny's Irish Pub, McNellie's Pub, Dilly Deli, El Guapo's Cantina and more for a mixture of American, Mexican and deli-style cuisine. Past presenting breweries have included Ace, Angry Orchard, Boulevard, Big Sky, New Planet, Mustang, Leinenkugel's Big Eddy, Sam Adams, Twisted Tea, Tall Grass, Shiner and many more. Don't miss out on sampling beers you've had your eye on during this fun event. Guests must be ages 21 and over.
