Bring your acoustic instrument, your singing voice, and your love of bluegrass, folk, jazz, and swing for a family-friendly jam. All skill levels are welcome to this casual, no-pressure jam session held in the park at William's Lodge.

2 Hip Chicks Roadshow

The 2 Hip Chicks Roadshow is coming to Claremore and bringing dozens of vendors and one-of-a-kind items with them. This traveling vendor show will feature vintage and shabby chic items for your home and yourself. Shop row after row of clothing, home decor, party items, vintage treasures, antiques and gifts during this shopping event at Claremore Expo Center. You can also sip on samples of wine as you browse all the repurposed furniture, handmade crafts, upcycled junk and more.

Camp-A-Palooza

Join us on Saturday, August 1, for a fun-filled finale of our Camp Guthrie series at Camp-A-Palooza! This free, family-friendly event brings together all of our Camp Guthrie community partners for a lively celebration. Tulsa Spotlight Theater: The Drunkard

Tulsa Spotlight Theater presents a weekly performance of "The Drunkard," an old-fashioned melodrama heavy on audience reactions. "The Drunkard" is an adaptation of "Ten Nights in a Barroom" which was written in the 1840s as a preachy piece meant to discourage the use of alcohol, but is now performed as a raucous comedy. "The Drunkard" has the distinction of being the longest continually performed play in North America having run since November 14, 1953. Find your seat and enjoy interacting with the performers as you boo, hiss, cheer, sing, and laugh along. You can even rent tomatoes to throw at the villain during one part of the performance, but please don't bring your own tomatoes!

Rogers and the Republic

Pop-up exhibit honoring America's 250th anniversary through the legacy of Oklahoma's most beloved humorist, Will Rogers. Explores how his wit, integrity, and empathy continue to reflect the American spirit. Exhibit admission free; general museum admission $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, children under 6 free. Tulsa Wedding Show

Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo

August 3-8, 2026

The Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo, a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo hosted each year in Vinita, will feature all of the exciting rodeo events fans have come to expect. Grab a seat at this year's rodeo and enjoy the eight main events – barrel racing, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, steer roping, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. Created in 1935 in honor of the memory of Will Rogers, the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo has become one of the biggest and best rodeos in the region, attracting top cowboy champions from across the nation and offering thousands of dollars in prize money.  Don't miss the parade, hosted downtown on Wednesday, or the street dance, hosted every night of the event. Other festivities will include a calf scramble, the Old Settlers reunion, a stunning grand entry, hilarious performances by rodeo clowns and more. Make your way to Vinita for one of the most outstanding rodeos in the southwest United States and watch as world-champion cowboys compete for cash and prizes.

Collinsville Tri-County Fair

The Collinsville Tri-County Fair is a junior livestock show that allows any 4-H or FFA member to show, regardless of where they live. They welcome out of state exhibitors with health papers. It’s a great “jackpot” show to get your animals out before fall fairs. The City of Collinsville is proud to partner with the Collinsville Tri-County Fair and GRDA to bring back the Indoor Exhibits for 2026. Whether you’re a first-time entrant or a seasoned ribbon-winner, this one-day showcase is all about celebrating our community’s talents—from artists to bakers to gardeners and more! This exciting addition is part of the Tri-County Fair’s 81st Anniversary celebration, and we’re inviting the community to help make it a success!

Muskogee Hot Air Balloon Festival

Hot air balloons will fill the sky over Muskogee’s Hatbox Event Park this August during the Muskogee Hot Air Balloon Festival. This magical event will feature tethered balloon rides, balloon glows after dark and hot air balloon rides as contestants compete for the Oklahoma Hot Air Balloon Championship Governor’s Trophy. Broken Arrow Community Playhouse presents: Sarah, Plain and Tall

For an uplifting story about family, visit the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse this August to see their production of “Sarah, Plain and Tall.” Adapted by Joseph Robinette from Patricia MacLachlan’s Newbery Medal-winning novel, this classic tale comes alive in a poignant, family-friendly production that everyone will enjoy. Set in the early 1900s, “Sarah, Plain and Tall” follows a widowed Midwestern farmer left to raise his two young children. Desperate for a mother's touch in their home, he places an advertisement in the newspaper for a wife. Narrated through flashbacks, the play explores the bittersweet, often humorous, and deeply touching time when a fragile new family learns to heal, trust and love again. Black Gold Days

Black Gold Days in Glenpool celebrates the city's rich oil history with family-oriented activities and fun. Join the citizens of Glenpool as they honor the history of the local Glenn Pool oil field, which created numerous oil and oil-related companies in the area and helped the city prosper after its discovery in 1905. Black Gold Days features a carnival, numerous food vendors, free entertainment and a fireworks display. Known for its lineup of live music performers, this festival will feature everything from bluegrass and gospel, to rock and country. Fill up at the Lion's Club pancake breakfast Saturday morning. Kids will enjoy a frog jump, turtle races, a horseshoe tournament and a variety of other children's activities.
