Switchfoot in Concert

Alt-rock band Switchfoot is taking over the Oklahoma Stage for an evening of head-banging rock music at the Tulsa State Fair. After early success in the Christian rock scene, this San Diego-based band gained mainstream recognition for their contributions to the 2002 movie "A Walk to Remember." This band is best-known for hits like "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move" from their 2003 album "Beautiful Letdown." Don't miss your chance to hear some of Switchfoot's most recognized tracks at their one-night-only show at the Tulsa State Fair.

Bring the whole family out for Tulsa's largest annual event, the Tulsa State Fair, and enjoy fun-filled, family entertainment at its best. One of Oklahoma's premier events, the Tulsa State Fair entertains festival-goers with a large array of carnival rides, midway games, attractions, free concerts, creative art displays and much more. This fair attracts over one million visitors each year and thousands of visitors each day. Join the crowds and experience thrilling rides and breathtaking attractions at the Tulsa State Fair, held at Tulsa Expo Square. Held since 1935, the Tulsa State Fair has blossomed into an entertainment bonanza with free concerts daily across three stages, grounds entertainment, exhibitions and stage shows. Come to the Tulsa State Fair to enjoy national headlining entertainment as well as exhibit buildings filled to the brim with attractions and educational displays. Grab a corndog or a funnel cake and peruse a variety of agricultural exhibits, numerous kitchen demonstrations, and vendor booths galore. The Tulsa State Fair will also play host to area horticultural and baked goods exhibits, as well as livestock and horse shows and the Junior Livestock Auction. Bring the kids and purchase tickets to this year's Disney on Ice. Watch their eyes light up in wonder as they see Disney characters glide across the ice during a magical performance featuring classic and contemporary Disney songs. Also, the PRCA Rodeo will return to this year's fair to the delight of rodeo fans everywhere. Attend the rodeo and watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete in action-packed events, such as barrel racing, team roping, bull riding and more. Stick around after the event for a concert and live entertainment. Kids will be entertained with a trip through the fair's petting zoo, activity centers and creative stations. The Tulsa State Fair will also host a variety of daily contests for the little ones. Also, don't forget to take a ride on the fair's most thrilling carnival rides.

Haunted Castle Halloween Festival

The Castle of Muskogee is Oklahoma's largest haunted attraction with over 62 acres of spine-chilling thrills and excitement. Pumpkin Festival

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross & Heart of the Shepherd September 23 – November 8, 2025 Tuesday – Saturday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Open Monday, October 27th Join Shepherd’s Cross and Heart of the Shepherd for their annual Pumpkin Festival. Enjoy a peaceful day in the country at an authentic working sheep farm, located just north of Claremore off Route 66. Filled with family-inclusive, fun, educational activities with no scares. Admission and parking are free; no hidden costs to spend the day at the farm. There are over 60 free activities to enjoy with your family on the farm. Explore the walk-through Pumpkin Patch with Hay Maze and Game Area. Pet sheep, goats, donkeys, and alpacas in the Farm Animal Barn petting area. Walk the Bible Garden and see pumpkins growing on the vine surrounded by sunflowers and festive fall flora. Find picturesque country scenes for perfect fall family photos. Look around the farm for our QR Code Scavenger hunt and watch short videos about farming and shepherding. The only paid-for activity is the wagon ride. Enjoy a tractor-pulled wagon ride on a ramp-loading trailer through the hay meadow. Wagon ride tickets are available for $6.50 per person; 2 and under are free. Wagon rides are every 30 minutes. Loads of pumpkins are available in all shapes, sizes, and colors for purchase, starting at $1.50 each. Pumpkin Packages are also available, which include a pumpkin (size of pumpkin varies with type of package), wagon ride, and a take-home craft or bring some old clothes to make your own scarecrow. Packages start at $9.50 per person. Inside the Amish-built barn, browse the Farm Store with handmade décor, gifts, and wares from over 80 local consignors as well as local honey, meat, produce, eggs, baked goods, candy, and snacks. Explore the Farm Museum and Silo with animated Percy the Perfect Pumpkin story time and watch fiber demonstrations in the Wool Mill. There are modern indoor restrooms. Shepherd’s Cross is an accredited Agritourism facility, a Made in Oklahoma Company, an Oklahoma Museum Association member, Oklahoma Farmer’s Market Hub, and a Grass-Fed, Grass-Finished Animal Welfare Approved farm. Heart of the Shepherd is the non-profit organization (501-C3) that operates at the farm. Heart of the Shepherd teaches Biblical references to the harvest, the animals, farming, and gardening. Because of their generosity, admission to Pumpkin Festival is free and operates by donations. Suggested donation is $5 per person; suggested, not required. All donations benefit Heart of the Shepherd’s international and local mission outreach programs.

Tallgrass Music Festival

October 2-4, 2025

Talented bluegrass artists will take the main stage Friday and Saturday to entertain crowds with original tunes, fiddle competitions and more. Multiple food and craft vendors will be set up, so make your way to the Tallgrass Music Festival and plan to stay awhile. OK Roots Global Bash

October 2-4, 2025

The OK Roots Global Bash is an exciting celebration of both global and local music. This weekend festival features eclectic roots music and kicks off the Guthrie Green concert season with internationally touring artists, local bands, and a variety of other acts. Enjoy rotating acts on the main stage as well as smaller performances on the lawn. In addition to the music, guests will enjoy Oklahoma craft beers and mouthwatering foods from Lucky's on the Green and other area food vendors. Woolaroc Fall Traders Encampment

First Friday Art Crawl

October 3, 2025 | 6 - 9 p.m.

Since 2007, the Tulsa Arts District has presented the community with rotating art displays as part of the monthly First Friday Art Crawl events. Every first Friday of the month, visitors can explore artwork inside galleries, studios and museums and catch a few live music performances or even an exciting fireworks display. As an added bonus, art crawlers can take advantage of free museum and gallery admission while shopping later than normal business hours would allow. HallowZOOeen

Jump on your broomstick and fly to the Tulsa Zoo for HallowZOOeen. This not-too-scary event is suitable for all ages and attracts thousands of visitors to the zoo for trick-or-treating and Halloween fun. HallowZOOeen includes Goblin Stops where kids can pick up treats, carnival games at the Pumpkin Patch Playroom, special themed activities at the Royal Castle and Pirate Island as well as Haunted Train Rides around the zoo. Kids also love the Cross-Eyed Carousel and everyone is encouraged to dress up in creative costumes.

HallowMarine

Dress up in your best Halloween costume for a chance to win prizes and interact with some of the ocean's most curious creatures from the deep during HallowMarine at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks. Trick-or-treaters of all ages can enjoy a safe, fun, indoor alternative to traditional Halloween activities as they follow the Trick-or-Treat Trail through the aquarium. Get your face painted with your favorite animal, play games or climb aboard the carousel. Kids can bounce in the aquatic-themed bounce house outdoors or enter to win the costume contest. All of the exhibits at the Oklahoma Aquarium are open during HallowMarine, so check out what the aquarium has to offer year-round while attending this special Halloween event.

Little Light House Golf Tournament

The tournament raises funds for the life changing education, therapy services, and specialized equipment Little Light House provides for children with special needs. Boo at the Box

Boo at Case Park is a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween in Sand Springs. Hosted at the city's community park, children can participate in trunk-or-treating throughout the evening and play Halloween-themed games. Trick-or-Tour at The Church Studio

October 31, 2025 | 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This Halloween, take in one of Oklahoma's most culturally significant landmarks with a spooky twist during Trick-or-Tour at The Church Studio. The Church Studio was built as a church in 1915 before Leon Russell added a state-of-the-art recording studio that would be used by legends such as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and more. In addition to the studio, this rock 'n roll landmark is full of artifacts and memorabilia from musicians' past. During the Trick-or-Tour event, guests who come to the studio dressed in costume will be given a free tour through this one-of-a-kind facility. Tours will be led by the knowledgeable staff who will also be in costume. Celebrate the spooky season with a trip through Tulsa's musical history during the Trick-or-Tour at The Church Studio.
