Tulsa State Fair
October 1-6, 2024
Bring the whole family out for Tulsa's largest annual event, the Tulsa State Fair, and enjoy fun-filled, family entertainment at its best. One of Oklahoma's premier events, the Tulsa State Fair entertains festival-goers with a large array of carnival rides, midway games, attractions, free concerts, creative art displays and much more. This fair attracts over one million visitors each year and thousands of visitors each day. Join the crowds and experience thrilling rides and breathtaking attractions at the Tulsa State Fair, held at Tulsa Expo Square. Bring the kids and purchase tickets to this year's Disney on Ice. Watch their eyes light up in wonder as they see Disney characters glide across the ice during a magical performance featuring classic and contemporary Disney songs. Also, the PRCA Rodeo will return to this year's fair to the delight of rodeo fans everywhere. Attend the rodeo and watch as cowboys and cowgirls compete in action-packed events, such as barrel racing, team roping, bull riding and more. Stick around after the event for a concert and live entertainment.

Food Truck Thursday is a seasonal, monthly food truck and shopping event in downtown Claremore. Running from 6-9 p.m. during the month of May through October, Food Truck Thursday features live, local musicians, a ton of food trucks, late night shopping and a fun atmosphere. Each month as a different theme for added fun. Downtown shops are open late!

Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross

Celebrate fall with pumpkins, hayrides and harvest educational activities at Shepherd's Cross, an authentic working farm in Claremore. Come out and select a pumpkin from truckloads available in all shapes and sizes at the Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd's Cross. Guests can also take-home straw bales and corn stalks for fall decorating. At this annual pumpkin festival, walk the hay maze, create a scarecrow, take a hayride, pet the animals in the petting zoo and make memories. Enjoy lots of fun games and activities for the whole family, farm demos and festive fall story time while celebrating the harvest season.

TwistedRoots Haunted Trail

Immerse yourself in over a mile of terror through the backwoods of Muskogee at the TwistedRoots Haunted Trail. Riddled with twists, turns, traps and terrors, this spooky stroll is not for the faint of heart. Make your way down the path and uncover the story of the "Muskogee Moonshine Murderers," a horrifying fictional family that has haunted the town for generations. Vinita Oktoberfest

Celebrate the season at Vinita’s 37th annual Oktoberfest. Pay tribute to the fall season and German culture with dancing, cake walks and authentic German, Native American, Asian, Hispanic, Scandinavian, and American food at this seasonal event. Find something tasty at the church bake sale or place a bid on one of the unique baskets at the Spectacular Silent Auction. The festival will also have dozens of craft vendors, so stop by their booths and browse the variety of handmade wares for sale. When you’re ready to relax, head to the Entertainment Tent and enjoy live music featuring the Blaskapelle Band from Tulsa and the German American Society Dancers, plus local and area talent. Bring the kids along for the festival’s many child-friendly activities. The Kids’ Tent features crafts, face painting and balloon art for the little ones or kids can head outside to participate in a bounce house, pony rides and a petting zoo. With so many booths and activities, there’s fun for the whole family at this vibrant fall festival.
