Athletes and health enthusiasts have been gathering in downtown Tulsa the last weekend in October since 1978 for a fun and competitive run. One of the most historic runs in the state, the Tulsa Run has a reputation for being an exciting gathering that presents running in a festival atmosphere. Events include 5K and 15K wheelchair races, a 5K and 15K run, a 2K fun run and a 15K race for speed walkers. A finish line festival delivers plenty of fun before and after the race and post-race events include live music, food and drinks. Hours Starts at 7:30am.
The Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc. presents the Color Breed Congress, a show exhibiting four separate horse breeds simultaneously. Participating associations in the show include the Pinto Horse Association, Palomino Horse Breeders of America, Appaloosa Horse Club, American Buckskin Registry Association, National Snaffle Bit Association, Ranch Horse Congress and Long Ear Congress. Watch as exhibitors compete against each other in the Champion of Champion classes for winners of youth, amateur and open classes in three arenas. In addition to seeing this variety of exciting equine competitions at Tulsa Expo Square, the event will include a trade show with vendors from throughout the state. Hours Starts at 7:30am.

The 17th annual Tulsa McNellie's Pub Run is a downtown Tulsa tradition that combines running (or walking) with beer drinking. Beginning promptly at 3pm, this timed event will be an on-street race. The Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show is one of the largest firearms shows in the world. This show features more than 4,200 exhibits including fine antique and modern firearms, knives, swords and accessories on display and for sale. Work off that Thanksgiving feast at the Tulsa Turkey Trot. Hosted on Black Friday, this all-ages event in downtown Tulsa includes a 5K and one-mile fun run or walk that begins and ends at the giant Christmas Tree near the BOK Center.
