The Buy Bixby program is one of the state's most successful holiday shopping programs! It is designed to build awareness of, and excitement about, Bixby businesses. The Buy Bixby program provides people within our community and throughout the region with greater exposure to what Bixby has to offer. It helps keep more of our local citizens' shopping dollars in our community while drawing in new shoppers from outside of our community. The most exciting incentive of this program is cash and prizes during the most wonderful time of the year! We will be giving away cash prizes and more! Register to win at the event. MIC DROP Homecoming celebrates the significant role Tulsa played in the creation of the Christian Hip Hop (CHH) genre; and in turn, the impact it has had on generations. The event will consist of a screening of the groundbreaking film MIC DROP: The Culture of Christian Hip Hop along with a CHH Pioneer Concert featuring some of the genre’s greatest founders – all commemorating Tulsa, the city that aided in the genre’s inception. MIC DROP: The Culture of Christian Hip Hop made history as the first documentary of its kind to be majorly distributed, via Warner Music, and delivered for viewing in theaters. The Tulsa event will mark one of few film premieres across the country prior to its official arrival to streaming platforms, including Netflix. MIC DROP highlights the pioneers who broke down barriers between Christianity and Hip Hop and, ultimately, created a movement. MIC DROP Homecoming will also honor beloved Tulsa pastor, Stephen Wiley – a revolutionary icon in Christian Hip Hop, credited with one of the first Christian Rap albums to ever be recorded. Wiley will also perform during the CHH Pioneer Concert alongside fellow trailblazers Adion Butler, Michael Peace and more.

47 Days of skating beneath the skyline 14 Years celebrating the holiday 9,000 Square feet of beautifully maintained ice to skate on Arvest Winterfest The time has come to bundle up and enjoy the magical spirit of the holidays as Tulsa's favorite winter festival returns to downtown Tulsa. The 14th Annual Arvest Winterfest presented with CommunityCare will kick off another season of holiday fun later this month. Named by People Magazine as the top holiday destination in Oklahoma, Arvest Winterfest presented with CommunityCare will be open from Friday, November 19 through Monday, January 3. This year, ice skating returns back outside BOK Center on Third Street. Event organizers have placed a heavy focus on the health and safety of its guests so they will be able to safely experience the magic of the holiday season! Additionally, Winterfest will feature a multitude of preventative measures as advised by the Tulsa Health Department and the Center for Disease Control (CDC). For more information on what we're doing to keep guests safe, see our COVID safety guidelines tab. Over the last 14 years, attendance for this event has soared from 35,000 visitors in 2008 to more than 150,000. This year the annual holiday celebration will be open for 47 days, giving as many Tulsans possible a chance to enjoy skating outside BOK Center while skating beneath the beautiful, gleaming holiday lights. Courtesy of Arvest, patrons receive half-price admission for skating on Mondays with the donation of a non-perishable canned good, benefiting the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Powered by PSO, patrons receive half-price admission for skating on Warmth Wednesdays with the donation of a new or gently used coat, blanket, scarf or pair of gloves, benefiting Night Light Tulsa. Lace up your skates and take in what has become one of Tulsa's favorite holiday traditions!
