National Snaffle Bit Association World Show

August 10-20, 2023 | 8 a.m.

The National Snaffle Bit Association brings together horses and riders from all over the country for its annual World Show at Tulsa Expo Square. This competition of pleasure horse events includes horsemanship, equitation over fences, western pleasure, hunter under saddle, hunter hack and more. Riders and horses from all different classes compete at this nearly week-long event. The NSBA will offer all-breed classes and payout in excess of $1,000,000 in cash and prizes. A trade show composed of commercial exhibitors and pleasure horse professionals will be available to assist spectators during the week.

Lake Life Festival

August 19, 2023 | 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We will have a kid’s fishing derby to kid’s games and activities. Canoe races. We have lots of family fun for the day and a variety of entertainment including music and a fishing tournament.

Northeast Oklahoma Autocross

August 19-20, 2023

See sports cars compete in challenging Northeast Oklahoma Autocross events this year. Cars will take to Davis Field in Muskogee, swiftly maneuvering around orange cones as they race against the clock. Cheer drivers on as they navigate past difficult obstacles before time runs out.

Pyra Mini Bull and Bronc Riding

August 20, 2023 | 1 p.m.

Come to the Pyra Mini Bull and Bronc riding show and witness bareback bronc riding, mini bull riding and more at this all ages event. Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo

August 23-26, 2023

The Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo, a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo hosted each year in Vinita, will feature all of the exciting rodeo events fans have come to expect. Grab a seat at this year’s rodeo and enjoy the eight main events – barrel racing, bareback bronc riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, steer roping, calf roping, bull riding and team roping. Created in 1935 in honor of the memory of Will Rogers, the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo has become one of the biggest and best rodeos in the region, attracting top cowboy champions from across the nation and offering thousands of dollars in prize money. Tickets to the Will Rogers Memorial Rodeo are available in advance or at the gate. Don’t miss the parade, hosted downtown on Wednesday, or the street dance, hosted every night of the event. Other festivities will include a calf scramble, the Old Settlers reunion, a stunning grand entry, hilarious performances by rodeo clowns and more. Make your way to Vinita for one of the most outstanding rodeos in the southwest United States and watch as world-champion cowboys compete for cash and prizes.

The Tulsa Reining Classic is an action-packed display of equestrian skills at Tulsa Expo Square. Watch cowboys and cowgirls of all ages and abilities compete in various challenging events that will keep you on the edge of your seat. See riders guide horses through precise patterns of circles, spins and stops at speeds alternating between a slow lope and a fast gallop. Cheer for your favorites as some of the most successful open riders to the tiniest young cowboys and cowgirls execute a variety of cantering and galloping feats in this thrilling show.
